About the team + role At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams. We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world's biggest financial problems. We're looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn't a place for complacency, it's where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We're a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards. Robinhood's Security Operations team operates across two distinct disciplines: proactive security — finding threats and vulnerabilities before attackers do — and reactive security — detecting, investigating, and evicting threat actors in real time. Together, these functions form a complete picture of what it takes to protect one of the most active financial platforms in the world. The team operates in an environment of genuine complexity: high-volume security events, sophisticated threat actors, and a constant arms race against adversaries who are increasingly leveraging AI to move faster and go deeper. The threat landscape is changing. AI-powered attackers don't move like traditional adversaries — they are faster, more adaptive, and harder to track with static defenses. Robinhood's approach to this isn't passive. We are building dynamic, intelligent defensive systems designed to detect, deceive, and outmaneuver agentic attackers — and we need a

At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs. If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value. THE WORK: As a Senior Staff Security Engineer focused on AI Security, you will be Ripple's deepest technical expert at the intersection of artificial intelligence and security. This is a purpose-built, high-impact individual contributor role that spans two critical mandates: securing AI systems that Ripple builds and operates, and harnessing AI to make Ripple's security function faster, smarter, and more scalable. You will lead the technical strategy for AI security across the agentic SDLC, define and operationalize guardrails for LLM and agentic AI adoption, and build AI-powered security tooling in close partnership with the broader organization to embed AI security into how Ripple operates every day. You will also shape Ripple's external posture on AI security, contributing to industry standards, regulatory discussions, and Ripple's published security practices. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Drive the AI Security technical strategy and roadmap, defining how Ripple secures its AI systems, governs agentic workflows, and embeds security controls into the AI development lifecycle from day one. Design and implement security controls for LLM-integrated and agentic AI systems, including sandboxing, identity and permission scoping, runtime monitoring, and containment of autonomous agent actions that exceed authorized scope. Own AI security across the Controlled Agentic SDLC, establ

We're a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards. Robinhood's Security Engineering org is a builder-first security engineering team — engineers organized across Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, Security Platform, and Detection & Response. Unlike traditional security teams that identify risk and hand it off, this org builds the systems that solve it. We own the critical authentication and identity infrastructure that protects every Robinhood user, the cryptographic libraries and access provisioning systems that keep internal operations secure, and the telemetry and detection platforms that give our security operations team the signal they need to move fast. If it secures how Robinhood runs — we built it. AI is reshaping what this team does and how it operates across two dimensions. First, we are embedding security directly into Robinhood's growing AI and agentic infrastructure — building the runtime authentication, credential management, and validation systems that make it possible to run AI safely in production at scale. Second, we are using AI to fundamentally multiply the capability of the security program itself — building intelligent internal platforms that surface vulnerabilities, accelerate detection
