Senior Staff Visual Designer, Design Lab

Datadog is entering a new chapter in how our product looks, feels, and operates. Our Design Lab is defining a new visual direction for the platform, and we’re looking for a Senior Staff Visual Product Designer to help turn that direction into a coherent product experience. Datadog is dense, technical, and used by people working through complex problems—often under real pressure. The challenge is not simply applying a new aesthetic. It is rethinking hierarchy, layout, navigation, interaction, and product patterns so the experience becomes clearer, more cohesive, and more expressive without losing the power our users rely on. This is a hands-on product design leadership role for someone who combines strong visual judgment with deep product and systems thinking. You’ll work alongside visual designers, motion designers, product designers, Design Systems, and Engineering to ensure the new direction changes how Datadog works—not just how it looks. What You'll Do Co-develop Datadog’s next visual direction by applying and stress-testing it across representative product journeys. Translate visual principles into concrete decisions about hierarchy, layout, navigation, information architecture, interaction, and behavior. Use visual language to clarify complex, data-dense experiences — hierarchy, density, and attention. Hold the visual quality bar across work you don't own, and align teams around it. Prototype, test, and refine new patterns before they become systemized. Partner deeply with Product Design, Design Systems, and engineering to turn successful concepts into durable system guidance and implementation. Create clear artifacts, pilots, and narratives that help teams adopt the direction and raise the product quality bar. Influence stakeholders across design, engineering, product, and executive partners. You will report directly to the Design Director and work as part of a small, focused team defining the future state before it scales across hundreds

The mission of The New York Times is to seek the truth and help people understand the world. That means independent journalism is at the heart of all we do as a company. It’s why we have a world-renowned newsroom that sends journalists to report on the ground from nearly 160 countries. It’s why we focus deeply on how our readers will experience our journalism, from print to audio to a world-class digital and app destination. And it’s why our business strategy centers on making journalism so good that it’s worth paying for. The Role: The New York Times is looking for someone to join our Newsroom Operations team. We are looking for someone who can handle the demands of a fast-paced news environment and can work under sometimes ambiguous circumstances. The Operations Manager will work with Shows and Visuals, but also assist other departments at the center of visual journalism at The Times. The work of these journalists — along with visual efforts across the newsroom — is a pillar of our reporting that has a large and engaged audience. You will help support these journalists with a variety of daily responsibilities and short- and long-term projects and coordinate with this group's other operations managers. You will be responsible for ensuring that day-to-day on-site operational tasks are completed in a timely manner to support the needs of department managers and staff. The Operations Manager's work is critical in supporting the journalism produced at The New York Times and all tasks, whether daily, weekly or one-off are greatly valued. You will report to a senior manager of Newsroom Operations. This role will be Hybrid, with a required in-office presence of 4 days a week. The schedule of these 4 days can fluctuate based on the needs of the desks, and during some peak news cycles, you may be required to be on site for 5 days during those weeks. Responsibilities: Support editors during breaking news and timely news events, ensuring that our journalists have

We’re looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer with deep experience in GenAI/ML to join Datadog’s Application Performance Monitoring (APM) team. APM is a product which provides deep visibility into applications, enabling users to identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize services. With distributed tracing, profiling, out-of-the-box dashboards, and seamless correlation with other telemetry data, Datadog APM provides some of the deepest and most structured visibility into the health and performance of applications. This context sets us up for an opportunity to be the world leaders in agentic investigations and incident troubleshooting. You’ll act as a technical leader within the APM group, focused on agentic workflows. You’ll lead efforts to design, train, evaluate, and deploy GenAI/ML models at scale. We’re looking for a product-minded ML engineer with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a track record of driving impactful initiatives end to end. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What You’ll Do: Serve as the technical owner for GenAI initiatives within APM, leading design, development, and deployment of ML/AI-powered features across multiple teams. Guide long-term strategy and technical direction for GenAI workflows across APM and related products. Build and benchmark GenAI/ML models using state-of-the-art techniques. Contribute to Datadog’s broader senior engineering community through thought leadership and collaboration on company-wide initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build automated investigation and triaging tools. Influence product direction by bringing a strong product mindset to your work, always advocating for the end user. Guide teams through ambiguity, sc

About Pinecone Pinecone is the knowledge infrastructure for AI at scale. Its leading vector database and knowledge engine, Pinecone Nexus, power accurate, performant AI applications for more than 9,000 customers and 800,000 developers worldwide. Pinecone's mission is to make AI knowledgeable. Pinecone is based in New York and raised $138M in funding from Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ, Menlo Ventures, and Wing Venture Capital. About the Team and Role: The Experience team is at the center of one of the most exciting transitions in software development history — the shift from human-driven to agent-driven product experiences. We own Pinecone's API, clients, authentication, revenue, and observability systems, and right now that means redesigning all of it for a world where AI agents are first-class users alongside humans. This is a wide-scope role. You'll own things end-to-end — from backend architecture to API design to SDK and web surfaces. You’ll be working closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to identify user needs and build the right thing, at the right abstraction level, at the right time. Along the way, you will be building high-leverage platform capabilities that accelerate Pinecone’s product development and user growth systems. We're looking for an engineer who sees this moment for what it is: a rare opportunity to shape how developers and agents interact with a category-defining product. You're not waiting to see how the industry figures out MCP, agentic workflows, and AI-native interfaces — you're already experimenting, already forming opinions, already building. You know that speed and leverage matter more than labor, and you've internalized AI-assisted development not as a productivity trick but as a fundamentally different way of working. Responsibilities: Pioneer our agent experience. Shape how AI agents interact with Pinecone — designing interfaces, protocols (MCP), and tooling that make Pinecone the easiest and most capable platform f
