Server & Infrastructure Engineer - Unannounced Project

Our Global Structure Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team. Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation and growth drive everything we do. Our Engineering teams tackle complex technical challenges across a global, three-sided marketplace, building and scaling systems that serve millions of customers, riders and partners every day. From real-time logistics to resilient infrastructure and marketplace optimisation, we design, build and operate technology that powers Deliveroo’s growth at scale. We’re looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join our SDUI team. In this role, you’ll help us build and scale our server-driven UI ( SDUI ) platform, enabling teams to build a UI once and have it deploy seamlessly to iOS, Android, and Web without redeploying a new app — performantly and consistently. This role is based in our London office with a hybrid setup, typically three days in the office. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be joining the SDUI team. We own the Android rendering layer of our server-driven UI platform, and the backend services that drive it, ensuring every consumer surface built on it is fast, correct, and visually indistinguishable from native. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: Drive technical execution by designing, building, and evolving the Android SDUI renderer — and the backend services (Kotlin, Golang, Protobuf) that feed it — to handle complex, real-time UI updates at scale. Lead architectural improvements and code reviews, ensuring the maintainability, visibility, and operational health of the renderer as more teams build on top of it. Partner with cross-functional disciplines (iOS and Web renderer engineers, product and design teams) to plan rollouts, align on plat

We are looking for an AI Inference Engineer to join our growing team. We build and run the inference engine behind every Perplexity query and deploy dozens of model architectures at scale with tight latency and cost budgets. Our stack is Rust, Python, CUDA, and CuTe DSL. Responsibilities: New models support. Support transformer-based retrieval, text-generation, and multimodal models in our inference infrastructure, from weight loading, request scheduling and KV-cache management to support in API Gateway. GPU kernels migration to CuTe DSL. Port our in-house CUDA kernels to NVIDIA's CuTe DSL so they run on GB200 today and are portable to Vera Rubin racks tomorrow. Rust-native serving runtime. Develop our internal Rust-based inference server to solve all Python pains and keep up with rapidly growing traffic. Performance optimisation. Profile and fix bottlenecks from network ingress through continuous batching and GPU kernels interleaving. Reliability and observability. Build dashboards, alerts, and automated remediation so we catch regressions before users do. Respond to and learn from production incidents. Who we're looking for: Deep experience with GPU programming and performance work (CUDA, Triton, CUTLASS, or similar). Any other deep systems programming experience is a plus. You understand modern LLM architectures and are able to bring them up reliably in a production environment. You've built and operated production distributed systems under real load - ideally performance-critical ones. Comfortable working across languages and layers: Rust for the serving runtime, Python for model code, CUDA/CuteDSL for kernels. You own problems end-to-end. You can read a research paper on Monday, write a kernel on Wednesday, and debug a production incident on Friday. Self-directed. You do well in fast-moving environments where the path forward isn't laid out for you. Nice-to-have: ML compilers and framework internals: PyTorch internals, torch.compile, custom operators. Distribut

A World-Changing Company Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. The Role The Palantir platform is deployed in numerous critical mission environments including combat zones and classified networks—from the back of a Humvee to a command post to the cloud. This means operating in multiple cloud environments, on-prem air-gapped networks, and at the edge—at scale. We are looking for Edge Infrastructure Engineers to build, operate, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable services for our production infrastructure. This role demands a deep focus on low-level systems, including the deployment and management of physical bare metal servers in both traditional data centers and edge environments. You will be responsible for physical network engineering and the development of robust infrastructure that ensures performance of the Palantir platform. In addition to ensuring performance and reliability, you will play a critical role in building and scaling new environments in a forward-deployed capacity, including onsite. Edge Infrastructure Engineers combine hardware-level engineering experience with the drive to improve existing systems and the creativity to develop novel solutions for evolving challenges. Our team strives to automate processes wherever possible, using whichever tools are best for the job. We strongly believe in engineering teams being responsible for the operations of their services in production. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineers to advocate for and participate in sensible, scalable systems design, sharing responsibility for diagnosing, resolving, and preventing production issues across our most demanding deployments.
