As an engineer on the Context Model Core team, you will shape the foundation powering the future of Enterprise AI and Process Intelligence. The Role: We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build the core capabilities to power the Celonis Context Model. In this role, you will build the next generation of user-facing tools and robust backend services that define how the world’s largest enterprises understand their data. You will tackle full-stack engineering challenges end-to-end: from designing scalable microservices in Java (Spring Boot) to building rich, interactive UI components in Angular and TypeScript . The Team: The Engine Orchestration team builds and operates the distributed services that run, scale and balance the analytical query engines. We are the layer that turns a customer's model into something they and their AI agents can query interactively using our Process Query Language across enterprise-sized datasets. The team actively evolves our new premium query engine, collaborating with multiple other teams across time zones. New features, improved operationability, robust security, and allowing for scalable customer workloads are ours to design and ship. Our defining program right now is a multi-year migration of the query engine that has powered Celonis for years onto our new premium query engine. It is one of the largest and highest-leverage engineering efforts in the company. This team owns Postgres end-to-end - from infrastructure and provisioning to the software layer that sits on top of it - and is looking for someone to help maintain and grow that ecosystem. The Team Metadata Platform DB owns Postgres provisioning and infrastructure as code, along with a set of Java (and one Rust) components built around it, including a core client library, a database proxy, a schema management tool, and a fork of an open-source sharding solution.
