Software Engineer, Product Infrastructure

About the Team The Cloud Agents team builds product infrastructure for long-running agents in the cloud: orchestration, sandboxing and isolation, secure environment connectivity, secrets and identity, observability, reliability, and cost controls. These agents securely connect to diverse developer and customer environments and use tools to accomplish goals. We partner closely with product, research, and infrastructure teams to turn agentic capabilities into dependable platforms for OpenAI products and developers building on OpenAI. About the Role We are looking for an experienced software engineer to help build and scale our cloud agent platform. You will design and operate systems for orchestrating agents at scale. You will work closely with product engineers on ChatGPT, API, and Codex to define the right abstractions and enable them to ship products quickly. Strong backend or infrastructure experience is important; experience with Python, Rust, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, or product platforms is especially helpful. In this role, you will: Design and scale the orchestration, sandboxing and storage systems that run agentic workloads for Codex, ChatGPT, and the OpenAI API. Partner with product engineers to build a platform that enables them to ship quickly and turn feedback into robust abstractions. Improve reliability, security, performance, and cost efficiency for long-running agents. Deploy services that can operate across different environments and clouds. Your background might look something like: 9+ years of professional engineering experience, excluding internships, in relevant roles at technology and product-driven companies. Experience leading large-scale backend, platform, or infrastructure projects from ambiguous problem statements to production systems. Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, or similar, and the ability to move across service, platform, and product boundaries. Strong understanding

About the Team OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. A majority of our users interact with our products in languages other than English, and our products must work seamlessly across languages, regions, and cultures. The Internationalization team builds the infrastructure that enables OpenAI products to ship globally by default. We develop the systems that power localization, international product launches, and high-quality global user experiences across all OpenAI products. About the Role As a Senior Software Engineer on the Internationalization team, you will build the systems that power localization and international product launches at OpenAI. You’ll work on the platform that manages product content, translation workflows, and localization infrastructure across our products. This role sits at the intersection of AI systems, developer platforms, and product infrastructure. In this role, you will Build and scale OpenAI’s localization, content, and experimentation platform used across OpenAI product teams, including open-source components: Develop AI-powered translation pipelines combined with human-in-the-loop review workflows. Design systems that reliably deliver localized product content across web and mobile apps. Build tools that enable linguists and localization teams to review and improve translations. Develop developer tooling that simplifies localization and internationalization workflows. Build and maintain internationalization libraries used across OpenAI products: Design systems that correctly handle numbers, currencies, dates, and pluralization across locales. Improve support for multilingual interfaces and right-to-left languages. Partner with product teams to improve the international readiness of new features. You might thrive in this role if you Have strong software engineering experience building backend or full-stack systems. Have familiarity with Java, React, MySQL, and cloud infrastructure p

About the Role The Engineering Acceleration Delivery / Continuous Deployment team builds and operates the systems that safely ship OpenAI’s infrastructure and product code to production. We own the deployment platform, release pipelines, and rollout safety mechanisms that allow engineers across OpenAI to deploy changes rapidly while minimizing operational risk. Our mission is to make production deployments fast, safe, and increasingly autonomous. This role sits at the intersection of developer productivity, distributed systems reliability, and large-scale infrastructure orchestration. In This Role, You Will Design and build continuous deployment infrastructure that safely rolls out changes across dozens of Kubernetes clusters and global regions. Develop systems for progressive delivery, including canary releases, staged rollouts, and automated rollback. Improve engineering velocity by reducing friction in the release pipeline and automating manual operational workflows. Work with product and infrastructure teams to ensure their services are deployable, observable, and resilient at scale. Implement and evolve deployment methodologies such as GitOps, infrastructure-as-code, and progressive delivery patterns. Build systems that automatically evaluate deployment health using metrics, logs, traces, and alerts to detect regressions and trigger safe rollbacks. Build systems that support agent-assisted or autonomous deployment workflows using modern AI tooling. Technologies commonly used in this environment include: Kubernetes for large-scale container orchestration and runtime infrastructure Python and FastAPI for internal services Terraform for infrastructure as code GitOps-based deployment workflows (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux, or similar systems) Buildkite for CI orchestration You may be a strong fit if you: Have worked with Kubernetes-based deployment systems at scale Have experience building or operating continuous deployment platforms Are familiar with GitOps tooling such as

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us! We're looking for software engineering interns who are excited to make an impact across different layers of our product and infrastructure. At Figma, we pair interns with teams that align with their skills and interests. This year, we're inviting you to share your interests from the start, so we can create the strongest possible match. Our interns are embedded into small, collaborative engineering teams across the company. You'll work closely with your mentor and teammates to ship meaningful features, tools, or systems. Whether you're working on internal infrastructure or user-facing features, you'll get to learn, contribute, and grow in a supportive environment. This internship will be based out of our San Francisco or New York Hub with a January 4, 2027 start date. Engineering Interests at Figma: When you apply, you'll tell us which areas you're most interested in to help us understand which kinds of engineering work you're most excited about: Product: Build full stack user facing features, including new collaboration tools, new product workflows, growth oriented experiments, and more Platform/Infrastructure: Build platform level tools, including distributed systems, developer tooling, performance/scalability work, and more Security Engineering: Build security-focused systems, product security tooling, detection, secure infrastructure, or privacy/security features Open: I'm flexible and still exploring different types of work What you'll do at Figma: Be fully embedded onto a Figma engineering

Who We Are Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together . We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. About the Role: As a Software Engineer on Collections Infra, you’ll help scale the infrastructure behind Notion’s database block. Databases power views, boards, charts, forms, and the workflows customers use to run their companies; as Notion grows into larger enterprise deployments and AI-native work, those systems need to become faster, more reliable, and ready for much higher concurrency. This team sits between infrastructure and product, building backend architecture that improves the customer experience while becoming a platform other Notion teams can build on. You’ll work on problems like database load performance, microservices, high-volume writes from agents, and the flexibility that makes Notion databases powerful and hard to scale. This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days. What You'll Achieve: By your 90th day, you’ll understand how Collections Infra supports Notion’s database
