Lithic is hiring a Solutions Engineer to design and deliver technical product solutions that meet customer needs and highlight the value of our platform. In this role, you'll be the technical and strategic bridge between Lithic and our clients. You'll own complex client relationships from pre-sale through implementation, helping partners design integrations, navigate the Lithic platform, and unlock the full potential of card issuing infrastructure. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that requires equal parts technical credibility, client empathy, and cross-functional influence. About the team The Applied AI Engineer, Digital Natives team is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective deployment of Generative AI applications for developers and enterprises. We act as a trusted advisor and thought partner for our customers, working to build an effective backlog of frontier AI use cases for their industry and drive them to production through strong technical guidance. As an Applied AI Engineer in the Digital Native segment, you’ll help large and highly sophisticated companies transform their business through custom AI solutions applications such as customer service, automated content generation, contextual search, personalization, and other novel use cases leveraging OpenAI’s newest, most exciting models and latest capabilities. About the role We are looking for a driven solutions leader with a product mindset to partner with our customers and ensure they achieve tangible business value with frontier AI. About the team OpenAI’s Forward Deployed Engineering team partners with customers to turn research breakthroughs into production systems. We operate at the intersection of customer delivery and core platform development. About the Role We are looking for customer-focused software engineers to build effective custom software that leverages OpenAI’s APIs to solve real customer problems. As an FDSWE, you will work with our customers and OpenAI Forward Deployed Engineers to design and implement scalable solutions that solve their most difficult problems. You will design abstractions to solve customer problems, and then use them to scale our speed and quality of delivery across all Forward Deployed engagements. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architects, and Customer Success Managers who work on the same account.
