Sr. Electrical Commissioning Technician - Memphis

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary and expanding consciousness to the stars. SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe. Our teams are building the full Super Intelligence stack: from our Colossus supercomputers, to Grok models, to our suite of applications, including Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X. We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next. ABOUT THE ROLE: As a member of the SpaceXSI construction team in Memphis, you will design, build, and activate some of the world’s most technically advanced electrical infrastructure — from high-voltage substations through medium-voltage distribution to low-voltage data center power systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). We execute complex electrical construction projects and infrastructure improvements from cradle to grave. You will operate with autonomy to solve diverse and complex power-system problems, excel at managing multiple projects at a time, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will work with other construction engineers, electrical contractors, equipment vendors, utilities, architects, and internal customers to deliver reliable, high-capacity electrical systems that support AI-scale compute. All SpaceX construction engineers serve additionally as project managers and supers — this is a construction management role per industry standards. The position is based in Memphis, TN. This role is focused on delivering the electrical backbone — from the high-voltage substation down to the low-voltage racks and BESS — that will power SpaceXSI's Memphis
