Sr. GRC Engineer The Team + The Role Pendo's Information Security team protects the data entrusted to Pendo and helps ensure our products are built with security and privacy by design. The team spans Security Operations, Product Security, and Compliance and Risk. With a small team and broad scope, the work directly supports the security, resilience, and trust of Pendo's products and operations. The Sr. GRC Engineer is an AI-first technical leader who helps drive the evolution of Pendo's governance, risk, and compliance program. This role independently leads complex compliance, risk, and incident-response work while identifying program maturity gaps, translating security risk into business terms, and contributing to security roadmap and investment decisions. Success means building durable controls and programs that reduce risk and operational friction, not simply completing audits. This role is based in our Raleigh office. What this looks like day-to-day AI-driven compliance and operations acceleration: Use AI to accelerate audit evidence preparation, policy documentation, control testing workflows, and regulatory research. Evaluate GRC platform automation capabilities and integrate AI tooling where it reduces manual overhead, then document and share effective approaches with the team. Security program strategy and roadmap: Identify maturity gaps across compliance and security operations and translate them into prioritized roadmap recommendations grounded in business risk. Contribute to security investment discussions, clarify tradeoffs between coverage, cost, and risk, and anticipate emerging regulatory requirements before they become audit findings. Compliance program ownership: Own one or more regulatory compliance programs end-to-end, including SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001/42001, PCI-DSS, GovRAMP, or FedRAMP. Lead control design, evidence collection, auditor relationships, and remediation tracking to maintain effective and durable compliance programs. Risk assessment

The Team + The Role Pendo’s Business Systems team keeps the company running smoothly across our global office footprint. The team owns the systems, infrastructure, automations, and day-to-day support that help Pendonauts work securely, efficiently, and at scale. As Pendo grows, this team plays a critical role in finding smarter, more scalable ways to support the business. As a Senior IT Engineer, you will own key IT infrastructure initiatives, lead Okta administration, build automations that reduce manual work, and support the SaaS tools that power Pendo’s operations. This role goes beyond ticket resolution: you will work hands-on across systems, support, automation, A/V, SaaS administration, and infrastructure improvements while partnering closely with teams across the business. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and help make Pendo’s IT function more reliable, secure, scalable, and forward-looking. This role is based in our Raleigh office. What this looks like day-to-day Okta administration: Own Okta administration as a core focus area, including SSO application implementation, onboarding and offboarding workflows, SCIM provisioning, and account lifecycle management. Build and maintain clean integrations that make access management seamless and scalable. Automation development: Use tools such as Workato, n8n, Okta Workflows, APIs, and AI tools to eliminate manual work across IT operations. Build automations for user account creation, workflow orchestration, tool integrations, and recurring support patterns. IT support: Resolve helpdesk tickets, troubleshoot network issues, and support A/V setup for meetings and events. You will own day-to-day support alongside larger initiatives, looking for repeatable patterns that can be automated or improved. User account management: Perform provisioning and deprovisioning as part of onboarding and offboarding workflows. Ensure access is accurate, timely, secure, and aligned to business needs. The team + the role Pendo's Data & GTM Intelligence org exists to make the revenue organization faster, smarter, and more effective. We sit at the intersection of data, AI, and GTM execution. We hold ourselves accountable to whether the teams we support are getting measurable, lasting value from our work. This role owns the operational foundation for Pendo's Marketing organization: process design, planning cycles, and strategic partnership with Marketing leadership. You stay close to the business - deeply embedded in the Marketing org, with a point of view on where process, data, or AI could unlock better outcomes. You also serve as the Marketing pod lead, the coordination point for Applied AI, Business Systems, and Data work that touches your function. You operate with significant autonomy. You identify what is broken, design the solution, and bring stakeholders along. The best person for this role has strong customer engineering domain knowledge, sharp analytical instincts, and genuine enthusiasm for rebuilding operations around AI. What this looks like day-to-day Own core Marketing operational work: campaign operations governance, pipeline modeling, and process architecture. Own the MOps process layer: lead processing logic, lead source and source detail hierarchy, audience and nurture processors, demand processing workflows, and campaign naming and governance standards. Design and improve the full campaign-to-pipeline workflow, from lead creation and routing through SLA governance and MQL processing. Partner with Analytics to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for Marketing leadership. Stay deeply embedded in the Marketing org. Decompose how work actually gets done: map the full activity chain behind a campaign, a content workflow, and identify where process gaps, not tool gaps, are costing pipeline. Define what good looks like for data quality and lead flow, surface issues, and work with Business Systems to fix them upst
