Staff Software Engineer, Agent Product

About the Team OpenAI’s Application Engineering team builds the internal products and platforms that help OpenAI operate securely and at scale. We engineer, own, and evolve OpenAI’s core productivity ecosystem, creating secure applications, integrations, automation, and reusable tooling where off-the-shelf software is not enough. Our work spans employee-facing experiences and the services, APIs, control planes, and governance that make them reliable, permission-aware, and scalable. We also act as a customer zero for OpenAI’s technology, building the enterprise foundations that let employees and agents safely access the context, tools, and actions they need. We partner closely with IT, Security, product teams, and platform providers to turn company-wide problems into durable systems, learn from real internal workflows, and help shape the products we deploy. We create paved paths that let teams move quickly without compromising security or operational quality. About the Role As a Staff Software Engineer on Agent Productivity, you will shape the foundation that enables teams to build agents with secure access to the context and capabilities they need. Slack will be the first and deepest implementation surface—and where you spend most of your time—owning its application architecture, integrations, APIs, governance, and administration automation while building patterns that extend to internal systems, identity platforms, and other enterprise applications. This is a hands-on engineering role with broad organizational impact as agents support more employee workflows. You will define platform architecture, build reusable foundations, and establish secure patterns for identity, permissions, connectivity, and operations that make agents easier to develop, deploy, and manage. In this role, you will: Own the technical strategy and architecture that enable teams to build, connect, and deploy agents quickly and safely, using Slack as the primary implementation surface. Why Harvey At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come. This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched. Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you. At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started. Role Overview Harvey’s products all depend on a shared AI foundation: the model layer and agent infrastructure that determine the quality of work our agents deliver. Legal is one of the hardest domains for AI: documents run to hundreds of pages, matters can span millions of files, and there is zero margin for error on accuracy. The AI Platform team builds the foundation that every product and agent team at Harvey builds upon. This team is early and there’s a lot to build: model routing, agent architecture, context management, evals. Your work here sets the ceiling for what Harvey’s AI can do. About the Role The Enterprise Trust & Governance team builds the control plane that lets the world’s largest organizations deploy Perplexity broadly and with confidence. Computer and our agents work across a growing share of our customers’ environments, tools, and models. For administrators, that makes precise, enforceable control essential: who can do what, with which data, through which agents, and within what usage limits. This team makes those controls easy to manage, reliable and consistent across every product, and transparent to the people accountable for them. This is a product and platform engineering role with end-to-end ownership, from shaping the architecture and policy models to shipping the experiences our customers’ administrators and security teams use every day. You’ll work across product and infrastructure teams to turn complex enterprise requirements into reusable primitives and intuitive controls. The scope spans identity and provisioning, fine-grained role-based access across connectors, tool actions, and models, customer-managed encryption keys, admin APIs, audit logs, and policy and usage controls. Strong governance helps enterprises move from pilots to company-wide rollouts and gives them the confidence to entrust agents with greater responsibility over time. Key Responsibilities Own enterprise identity and provisioning, including SSO (SAML/OIDC), SCIM, WorkOS integrations, and support for identity providers such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID. Build the permissions platform, with fine-grained roles and permissions for connectors, tool actions, models, and model effort levels, enforced consistently across products and agent workflows. Design and ship secure, well-documented admin APIs for audit logs, members, groups, roles, and settings. Build policy controls for model and feature availability, staged rollouts, model deprecations, usage and spend limits, alerts, and cost-center allocation. Build admin-facing analytics for adoption, usage,

About the Team The Enterprise Product team creates the platform that customers use to build, maintain, and improve their AI agents. We transform complex engineering work into intuitive self-serve products, making sophisticated AI capabilities accessible to both technical and non-technical Customer Experience teams. This team is core to Decagon’s ability to scale: the tools you build directly support agents for all our customers, each with unique workflows, data, and requirements. About the Role You'll be a technical leader for a full-stack product engineering team, shaping the platform that empowers customers to create and optimize their AI agents. This means working closely with the Agent Software Engineering and Agent PM teams to understand current workflows, then defining technical strategy and establishing patterns that scale those capabilities across our customer base. You'll work day-to-day with the core product and design teams, joining discovery, defining requirements, reviewing designs, an

About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the Role We're looking for a Software Engineer to join the team building Claude Security. In this role, you'll take new security capabilities in frontier models and turn them into products that customers can rely on, working across the full stack from early prototype through production. This role sits close to both research and go-to-market. You'll work with researchers on the team to understand what the models can do and where they fall short, and with customers and partners to understand which problems are worth solving for them. You'll be expected to form your own view from both and to own significant pieces of the roadmap, including deciding what not to pursue. The right candidate is a strong generalist engineer with the technical depth to engage with research, the product instincts to know what's worth building, and the drive to move fast. Prior security experience is useful but not required; range across the stack and good judgment about what to build matter more. Responsibilities Build and ship user-facing and/or backend features for Claude Security Build the agent loops, tool integrations, and enabling infrastructure for cybersecurity products Collaborate tightly with product managers and go-to-market to understand user needs, shape feature scope, and make informed tradeoffs as you build Iterate quickly based on user feedback and internal testing, improving the experience on a continuous basis Collaborate with research teams to identify and develop new model capabilities for security applications You may be a good fit if you: Contribute across the stack, from front-end UI to back-end infrastructure Are proficient in Type

About the Team The Agent Platform team builds the runtime and model orchestration layer that powers Decagon’s agents in production. This is the orchestration layer that turns workflows, tools and guardrails into a reliable, low-latency, and delightful experience for end users. At the core of this work is the agent harness: the routing, execution logic, tool orchestration, and control-plane systems that determine how an agent behaves in a live conversation. The team owns the full execution lifecycle of each conversation—from selecting workflows and orchestrating multiple models (e.g., router/planner/supervisor patterns), to coordinating tool calls, enforcing safety constraints, and communicating back to the user. The team operates across both real-time systems (e.g., voice interactions with strict latency requirements) and longer-horizon execution (supporting more complex reasoning and workflows). Our research shows that an agent’s task execution reliability increasingly depends on the orchestration
