About Anyscale: At Anyscale , we're on a mission to democratize distributed computing and make it accessible to software developers of all skill levels. We’re commercializing Ray , a popular open-source project that's creating an ecosystem of libraries for scalable machine learning. Companies like OpenAI , Uber , Spotify , Instacart , Cruise , and many more, have Ray in their tech stacks to accelerate the progress of AI applications out into the real world. With Anyscale, we’re building the best place to run Ray, so that any developer or data scientist can scale an ML application from their laptop to the cluster without needing to be a distributed systems expert. Proud to be backed by Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, and Addition with $250+ million raised to date. About the Role Anyscale is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the technical vision for our Infrastructure team. As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for the architectural evolution of our control plane and data plane, ensuring that our "infinite laptop" vision scales to meet the most demanding distributed AI workloads in the world. You will act as a force multiplier, setting the standards for Kubernetes-based cloud-native infrastructure while mentoring engineers and driving cross-functional alignment across the Ray open-source community and our proprietary product teams. Key Responsibilities Architectural Leadership: Define and drive the multi-year technical roadmap for services that orchestrate Ray clusters across diverse cloud and on-premises environments. Systemic Optimization: Lead the design and optimization of high-performance control plane components specifically tailored for large-scale, heterogeneous AI/ML workloads. Platform Reliability: Establish the organization-wide standards for the reliability, scalability, and observability of Anyscale-managed infrastructure. Strategic Integration: Direct the long-term strategy for accelerator integration (GPUs, TPUs) and container management to ens

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done. Staff Software Engineer – File Ingestion (Customer-Facing Services) Build the Future of the AI Data Cloud Snowflake’s File Ingestion team owns the core engines behind COPY INTO and Snowpipe — the primary arteries landing customer data into the AI Data Cloud at hundreds of petabytes per quarter. We are expanding our core mission to build next-generation, external-facing ingestion services that directly expose file-ingest capabilities to external platforms, partner ecosystems, and customer applications. As a Staff Software Engineer , you will lead the architectural vision and execution for these mission-critical, customer-facing services. You will operate at the intersection of high-throughput distributed systems, API platform design, and direct customer feature delivery, defining how enterprise data seamlessly flows into Snowflake at global scale. What You’ll Do Drive Technical Vision & Architecture: Define the multi-year architecture and technical strategy for high-throughput, external-facing ingestion services and APIs across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Deliver Customer-Facing Innovations: Lead the end-to-end execution of enterprise-grade external features, ensuring low-latency data landing, high availability, and seamless ecosystem integration (e.g., S

About Snorkel Snorkel AI is the frontier AI data lab, helping teams build the data and environments behind high-performing frontier and agentic AI. We combine technology with research-driven AI data development to create datasets, benchmarks, evals, and custom solutions for real-world AI systems. Founded out of the Stanford AI Lab in 2019, Snorkel works with leading AI labs and enterprises to move from better data to better outcomes. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built? Apply to be the newest Snorkeler! About The Team Snorkel's AI Platform organization builds the infrastructure and systems that power AI development at scale - synthetic data generation, evaluation, agentic workflows, simulation environments, LLM infrastructure, and distributed compute. Our platform enables engineering and research teams to rapidly experiment with models and agents, measure their behavior, and turn successful experiments into reliable production systems. We're a small team operating at the intersection of distributed systems and applied AI, and we're in the middle of a foundational shift toward agent-first workflows where models interact with tools, environments, data, and other agents over long-running trajectories.
