Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned AI Strategist to lead strategic enterprise accounts and play a pivotal role in shaping high-impact AI engagements. This role will work closely with our Executive Leadership Team, providing leverage on our most important deals and helping drive transformative AI adoption across major enterprises. The ideal candidate has previously served as a Senior Engagement Manager (or equivalent) at a top-tier consulting firm such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or comparable management consulting firms, and is familiar with complex enterprise sales motions. You must be comfortable engaging at C-level, shaping AI strategy for customers, and partnering cross-functionally to orchestrate successful outcomes. The Role The Customer Engagement Manager owns a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts end-to-end: every engagement, every outcome, every relationship, every expansion opportunity. Think of this as the McKinsey Associate Partner model applied to enterprise AI delivery. You are the single point of accountability for your accounts. The customer calls you — not your manager — when they have a problem. You staff delivery teams, oversee solution quality, run executive readouts, measure ROI, drive adoption, rebuild trust when things break, and grow the book through proven production value. Discord's Payments, Fraud & Risk team enables revenue growth and protects Discord's financial health by managing payments optimization and fraud risk as a strategic function. We operate across three core areas: identifying and mitigating large-scale fraud to enable clean revenue, optimizing the cost of payments through chargeback strategy and card network fee mitigation, and partnering with Product, Revenue, and Engineering early to surface and address fraud risk — so Discord can launch with confidence and maximize revenue outcomes.
