A World-Changing Company Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. The Role Backend Software Engineers at Palantir build software at scale to transform how organisations use data. Our Software Engineers are involved throughout the product lifecycle, from idea generation, design, prototyping, and production delivery. You will collaborate closely with technical and non-technical teammates to understand our customers' problems and build products that solve them. We encourage movement across teams to share context, skills, and experience, so you'll learn about many different technologies and aspects of each product. Engineers work autonomously and make decisions independently, within a community that will support and challenge you as you grow and develop, becoming a strong technical contributor and engineering leader. Your day-to-day workflow will vary, adapting to the requirements of our users and the technical challenges that arise. One day, you may find yourself collaborating with other engineers to architect a new system that enables a novel workflow, the next you could be fine-tuning performance to enable low-latency operational outcomes. Our Product Development organisation is made up of small teams of Software Engineers. Each team focuses on a specific aspect of a product and work collaboratively to build cross functional capabilities, streamline user workflows and continuously improve our software's efficiency and reliability. We’re hiring engineers who are passionate about solving real-world problems and empowering both developers and end-users to work optimally. If you’re motivated to develop reliable, performant, and scalable systems, and to design robust APIs and primitives, this role offers the opportunity to make a

About the Team OpenAI, in partnership with our capital and technology partners, is building a global network of advanced datacenters to support the most demanding AI workloads. The Industrial Compute team ensures that all datacenter systems are manufactured, delivered, and commissioned to the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. We work closely with manufacturing partners, engineering teams, and operations staff to ensure that every component is delivered ready for installation, startup, and long-term service. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer (QE) to drive Product and Site Quality initiatives across OpenAI’s infrastructure ecosystem. In this role, you will establish, implement, and manage a comprehensive, quality-focused program across our global supply chain network, ensuring excellence from design through deployment. You will be responsible for end-to-end quality of finished products, as well as maintaining and elevating manufacturing site quality standards. Working cross-functionally with Design (NPI) and Engineering teams, you will help achieve First Pass Yield (FPY), quality, and reliability targets. This includes leading site and fixture validation efforts, driving yield improvement initiatives (Yield Bridge, CPI), and implementing robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve issues at their root cause. In addition, you will play a key role in supplier quality management, assessing and qualifying new vendors, overseeing ongoing supplier performance, and ensuring readiness for future business awards. You will lead vendor audits, monitor key performance metrics, and coordinate corrective actions to ensure predictable delivery schedules, reduced operational risk, and high system reliability. By partnering closely with external suppliers and internal Engineering and Operations stakeholders, you will help ensure OpenAI’s datacenter infrastructure is delivered on time, meets the highest quality standa

About the Team OpenAI's mission is to ensure that AGI benefits all of humanity. The Business Systems team helps make that mission possible by building the internal products and platforms that allow OpenAI to operate with speed, reliability, and care. We build internal applications and workflows for Finance and Supply Chain. Our work spans product discovery, React and TypeScript interfaces, Python services and APIs, data models, workflow orchestration, enterprise integrations, and the systems that connect people to systems of record. We work directly with the people who use these products and care about correctness, permissions, auditability, and production reliability. Examples of our work include building an integration platform for supply chain integrations, integrations with Oracle Fusion and Zip, contract intelligence applied to B2B revenue recognition, and Temporal-based agentic workflows for credit checks, duplicate bank detection, and invoice triaging. We turn these efforts into reusable patterns that can support many workflows, rather than one-off automations. About the Role We are looking for Product Engineers to build internal applications end to end. This role spans product discovery, user experience, frontend, backend services, data models, workflow orchestration, and integrations with order management, fulfillment, and supply chain systems. You will take a problem from a first conversation with a Finance or Supply Chain partner through design, implementation, rollout, and production support. Strong candidates combine product judgment with engineering depth. You should be comfortable moving between a React interface, a Python API, a durable workflow, and an integration with an enterprise system. You should be able to ship a useful first version quickly while building the foundations for reuse, security, and long-term maintainability. Direct AI experience is helpful, but the core requirement is strong product engineering judgment and reliable execution. I
About the Team OpenAI’s Hardware organization develops AI-native silicon and system-level solutions for the unique demands of advanced AI workloads. Building on efforts like Jalapeño, the team is developing future generations of AI-native silicon and tightly integrated systems to power the next generation of frontier models. By co-designing chips, systems, tools, and methodologies, the team helps deliver faster, more efficient, and production-ready hardware for OpenAI’s supercomputing platform. About the Role We’re looking for a Rack Power Engineer with deep expertise in high-power conversion and distribution to design, qualify, and support power systems for AI supercomputers. You will own rack power solutions—including power shelves, AC/DC rectifiers, power supply units (PSUs), power management controllers (PMCs), and high-current distribution—from requirements and supplier development through deployment. You will also monitor fleet rack power health, lead debugging and root-cause investigations, and drive improvements into hardware, firmware, and qualification coverage. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Own rack power architecture and requirements for high-power AI supercomputing systems, including power budgets, AC input interfaces, DC distribution, redundancy, efficiency, serviceability, and integration with data center infrastructure. Drive the design and supplier development of power shelves, rectifiers, PSUs, PMCs, busbars, connectors, and protection circuits. Review electrical designs and control behavior, and evaluate performance, cost, reliability, and availability trade-offs. Define and execute component, shelf, and rack qualification plans covering load transients, current sharing, hot-swap, startup and shutdown, redundancy failover, fault protection and recovery, thermal limits, and AC disturbances and ride-through
