Our Americas Legal team is the primary legal partner to OKX's regulated businesses across the Americas region, advising on a broad range of topics including regulatory strategy, regulatory licensing, product launches, strategic partnerships and corporate matters. The Americas Legal team works cross-functionally with leaders across the company to help build and scale an innovative and compliant OKX platform. About the Opportunity This is an essential, high-profile role at one of the fastest-growing global cryptocurrency exchanges based in San Jose, CA. The Deputy General Counsel will play a central role in proactively shaping OKX's regulatory and legal strategy in the US and across the Americas. The Deputy General Counsel will act as a key partner and provide day-to-day counsel to senior business leadership of OKX's US business, including the coordination of efforts with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Finance and other functions. The Deputy General Counsel will stay abreast of all regulatory changes applicable to the digital asset space in the US, promptly communicate developments to OKX's senior business leadership, and help guide the business in identifying growth opportunities in the US. The position will coordinate the efforts of the legal function serving OKX's business in the US as well as the Americas more broadly, and will report to OKX's VP, Legal.
