Key Responsibilities: Execute month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare and review accounts payable, journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, bank wires and fluctuation analyses. Maintain accurate standard operating procedures, financial records and documentation. Identify and implement automation opportunities within the accounting, close and reconciliation process. Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and government authorities and external service providers. Prepare financial statements and management reports. Monitor cash flow and bank balances to ensure sufficient funding for operational requirements. Required Skills and Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in audit firms and/or in-house finance teams. Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from a reputable university. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for accounting, data analysis and resolving breaks Excellent problem-solving skills. Expertise in financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, GST, and corporate tax requirements.
