Datadog is expanding the Technical Solutions (TS) organization by seeking a customer-focused, deeply technical Distinguished Architect to join our Product Solutions Architecture (PSA) team. In this role, you will act as a technical multiplier for the world's leading AI labs and AI-native companies. You will bridge the gap between their bleeding-edge infrastructure aspirations and Datadog’s technology roadmap, ensuring our platform natively solves the unique observability challenges of training and deploying foundational models at scale. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them. What You’ll Do: Leadership : Demonstrate thought leadership in the AI/LLM space. Influence key decision makers and stakeholders by connecting technical capabilities to organizational and business impact. We are investing in agentic AI and need a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of these systems. This is a foundational hire: you will own both the agent-facing workstreams — pipelines, orchestration, conversational interfaces — and the underlying context layer that makes them reliable, including memory management, knowledge graph integration, and retrieval infrastructure. You will work closely with data engineers, project leads, and client stakeholders, and play a key role in shaping how Lynx builds and ships AI solutions at scale. What This Involves: Lead the architecture and delivery of agentic AI systems end-to-end: agents, orchestration, tool use, and multi-step reasoning workflows. Own the context layer: design and implement memory architectures (episodic, semantic, working memory) and integrate GraphRAG and knowledge graph retrieval into agentic pipelines. Build robust RAG systems — including vector retrieval, graph traversal, and hybrid search — and ensure retrieval quality through evaluation frameworks. Translate client requirements into technical designs, presenting approaches and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Define standards and reusable patterns for agentic AI development that other engineers at Lynx can build on. Set up observability, evaluation, and monitoring pipelines to ensure AI systems perform correctly in production. Requirements: 5–8 years of software or ML engineering experience, with at least 2–3 years building LLM-based or agentic AI systems in production. Deep hands-on experience with agentic frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar) and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). Strong understanding of agent design patterns: ReAct, planning loops, tool use, multi-agent coordination, and memory architectures. Practical experience with GraphRAG or knowledge graph-based retrieval (e.g., Neo4j, Microsoft GraphRAG) and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, etc.). Proficiency in
Who We Are Nuro believes self-driving vehicles are the most immediate and profound opportunity for AI to drive positive change in the physical world. Safer streets, more time for what matters, and easier access to the world around us, that’s why we’re building a universal autonomy platform: self-driving for all roads and all rides. Founded in 2016, Nuro is a physical AI company developing Level 4 autonomous driving technology for a wide range of vehicles, use cases, and markets. Powered by the Nuro Driver™, our universal autonomy platform enables the global mobility ecosystem to deploy autonomy at scale, from robotaxis and logistics fleets to personal vehicles. With years of real-world deployment experience and a flexible, partner-led business model, Nuro is working toward a future where millions of autonomous vehicles powered by our technology help make everyday life safer, easier, and more connected. Nuro has raised over $2B in capital from Uber, NVIDIA, Google, Softbank, Fidelity, T. Rowe Price, and other leading investors. About the Team Frontier models are fungible. Any team can rent the same intelligence we can, and the model we build on today will be replaced within a month. What is not fungible is the infrastructure that decides whether an autonomous system's output can be trusted — evaluation, verification, and the discipline to gate on evidence instead of impressions. Nuro has spent a decade building exactly that discipline for a robot that drives on public roads, and this team turns it inward: we build the platform that lets AI agents operate autonomously inside Nuro's own engineering organization, under the same standard of proof we apply to the vehicle. Our mandate is to amplify the output of every engineer and researcher at Nuro by 100x. Not a better IDE, not a faster build — a change in what a single person can attempt. That number is a target, not a claim, and reaching it depends on one thing above all: autonomous work has to be trustworthy eno

The team + the role Pendo's Applied AI team turns AI infrastructure into real business outcomes across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Engineering. AI here isn't a feature we bolt on — it's how we scale GTM capability across the company. We build AI that makes GTM teams measurably faster and more effective, and we measure success by whether those teams are actually using what we ship and getting real value from it. As an Applied AI Engineer, you'll own the full lifecycle of AI-powered solutions — from problem definition and prompt design through to production deployment and ongoing iteration. You'll work directly with GTM stakeholders to identify high-value problems, set realistic expectations about what AI can and can't do, and ship solutions that stick. The best person for this role has a strong engineering instinct, deep curiosity about how businesses operate, and the judgment to know when AI is the right tool — and when it isn't. This role is based in Raleigh, NC and follows Pendo's hybrid model: in-office 3 days per week. What this looks like day-to-day Own AI solutions end-to-end: problem definition, prompt design, production deployment, monitoring, and iteration — you ship, you watch, you improve. Build and manage GTM workflow automations that reduce manual work across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Engineering systems, including Slackbots and other integrations. Partner directly with GTM stakeholders to surface high-value problems, validate solutions, drive adoption, and set honest expectations about AI capabilities and limitations. Develop and maintain prompt management practices that make AI outputs reliable, auditable, and improvable over time — treat prompts as production code, not experiments. Work with the Data Platform and Systems teams to identify foundational tooling gaps and contribute clear, actionable requirements based on what you encounter in production. Share reusable AI workflow patterns and tool findings with the broader team — your impact sh
