Okta is searching for a Senior Analyst, Foreign Tax Compliance and Reporting to join Okta’s Global Tax Compliance and Reporting Team. The Senior Analyst will be pivotal in the success of Okta’s income tax compliance and reporting obligations. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated with strong organizational, project management, and communication (written and verbal) skills. The role is based in Bengaluru, India and will report to the US Sr. Manager overseeing Okta’s global income tax compliance and reporting. It is expected that the candidate lives within commuting distance of Bengaluru, India and is willing to work in the office at least 2 days per week. Job duties and responsibilities may include assisting with the following: The work timings will be from 2pm IST to 11pm IST. Ensure timely and accurate filing of the company’s APAC, EMEA, and LATAM income tax compliance and reporting obligations Review income tax returns and statutory tax provisions prepared by service providers; prepare workpapers to support compliance and reporting Prepare and/or review tax payment calculations and facilitate making payments Assist with analyzing impacts of foreign income tax laws Assist with establishing processes related to new tax regimes (such as Pillar Two) or global expansion into new jurisdictions Assist with other projects including responding to taxing authority correspondence, preparing tax department budgets, reviewing engagement letters, reviewing invoi
