Role Description We are seeking a Senior Manager, Data Engineering to lead the team responsible for Dropbox’s underlying data foundations that power our business as a whole. This is a hands-on engineering leader who owns the pipelines and data products that Product, GTM, Finance, and the CTO organization depend on to make decisions. In this role, you will lead and grow a team of data engineers building and operating our ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and serving layers, as well as the self-serve analytics substrate that lets partner teams answer their own questions without bespoke engineering work. The ideal candidate is a deeply technical, product-minded engineering leader who can hold a high bar on system reliability and data quality while partnering closely with Data Science, Business Intelligence Engineering, Analytics, and Product to turn fragmented, ticket-driven data work into durable, reusable data products. Responsibilities Data Quality & Observability: Establish and enforce a rigorous data quality culture: lineage, freshness monitoring, anomaly detection, and outcome-oriented, gaming-resistant quality metrics. Self-Serve Platform: Lead the engineering of the self-serve analytics substrate, reducing bespoke request volume and increasing partner-team autonomy. Cost & Efficiency: Own the unit economics of the data platform — compute and storage efficiency — and drive measurable improvements without sacrificing reliability. Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner deeply with Data Science, BIE, Analytics, Product, Data Platform, and the CTO org to define the semantic layer, modeling standards, and data contracts that make downstream work trustworthy and fast. Engineering Culture: Establish rigorous engineering practices — code review, testing, CI/CD for data, incident response, and postmortems — and champion the effective, measured use of AI coding tools to improve engineering productivity. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow

About the Role In this role, you’ll lead and evolve the design system foundations for ChatGPT. You’ll make nuanced design judgment explicit and usable across product teams, establishing the principles, patterns, and standards that enable coherent, high-quality experiences at scale. A paramount part of this role is raising OpenAI’s craft bar. This work extends beyond maintaining a component library: you’ll define what excellent product design looks and feels like, establish clear guidance for choosing and applying interface patterns, and ensure that new ChatGPT experiences strengthen a coherent system across platforms. Working closely with research, engineering, product, and design, you’ll create a continuous learning loop between design principles, product experiences, evaluation, and evolving technology—shaping a system that becomes more capable and expressive as ChatGPT grows. This role is based in our San Francisco HQ. We offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role you will: Define an exceptionally high standard for craft and taste, translating that standard into principles, guidance, and examples that elevate the quality of ChatGPT. Own and evolve ChatGPT’s design foundations, including typography, sizing, spacing, layout, motion, accessibility, and responsive behavior. Establish a shared source of truth across platforms and improve the systems connecting tokens, components, patterns, widgets, learning experiences, and app-like product experiences. About the Team The SMB Sales team is focused on scaling efficient, high-quality sales execution across a range of commercial motions, including Inbound, Outbound, API Sales, Channel, and SDR. We partner closely with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Enablement, Program Management, and external vendor partners to build scalable operating models that support growth while maintaining a high bar for performance and customer experience. About the Role As a Senior Vendor Manager, SMB Sales, you will own performance across our outsourced SMB Sales vendor network. This is not a traditional vendor management role. We’re looking for a performance-focused operator who can drive large-scale sales execution through vendor partners, rather than someone primarily focused on vendor relationship management. You will own regional and site-level performance across Tier 1 partners, with responsibility for sales performance, quality, forecasting, governance, operational readiness, and vendor leadership accountability across multiple sales motions. You’ll work at the intersection of Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Enablement, Program Management, and external vendor executives. About the Team The Integrity team builds the systems OpenAI uses to understand, prevent, and respond to misuse across our products. We partner with Product, Policy, Safety Systems, User Operations, Security, Legal, Privacy, OpenAI for Government, and research teams to turn policy and threat models into product controls, review workflows, measurement systems, and enforcement paths. About the Role We are hiring a Senior Engineering Leader for Integrity's engineering efforts for Sensitive Deployments where model capabilities, customer requirements, deployment environments, privacy considerations, and misuse risks raise the operating bar significantly. These include hyperscaler and government deployments and other high-stakes environments, regulated and high-trust enterprise settings, zero data retention and privacy-constrained deployments. The workloads are increasingly agentic where harm can emerge across a sequence of actions rather than a single prompt. The Sensitive Deployments Engineering Manager will focus on high-consequence use cases relevant to government deployments and broader deployment-readiness questions for high-risk domains (e.g., healthcare), while building reusable Integrity capabilities for agentic detection and enforcements in these environments. We're looking for a hands-on engineering leader to guide a team of senior engineers working on OpenAI's most critical deployments. About the Role The Engineering Acceleration team builds and operates the foundational systems that engineers use to build, test, and ship ChatGPT, the API, and OpenAI's infrastructure. We are looking for an engineer to help evolve OpenAI's build and continuous integration systems for a fast-growing engineering organization. This role sits at the intersection of developer productivity, build systems, distributed infrastructure, and software quality. You will work on the systems that determine how quickly and confidently engineers can move: Bazel-based builds, Buildkite pipelines, test selection, remote caching and execution, CI observability, and tooling that helps engineers understand and fix failures quickly. Our mission is to make OpenAI one of the most productive engineering organizations in the world while preserving a high bar for correctness, reliability, and safety. The best version of this work is invisible when it succeeds: builds are fast, tests are trusted, CI failures are understandable, and engineers can focus on shipping useful systems instead of fighting infrastructure. In This Role, You Will Own and evolve Bazel-based build and test workflows across a large, polyglot monorepo. Design and maintain Starlark rules, macros, toolchains, and integrations that make builds reproducible, hermetic, and easy for product teams to adopt. Improve CI performance and reliability across Buildkite pipelines, including queue time, build time, cache hit rates, test sharding, retry behavior, and flake isolation. Build systems that reduce unnecessary CI work through affected-target detection, dependency graph analysis, test selection, caching, batching, and smarter scheduling. Improve local development workflows so engineers can reproduce CI behavior, debug build failures, and iterate quickly without learning every detail of the build stack. Operate and optimize build infrastructure across Docker/OCI images, Kubernetes-based runners, cloud resources, and remote cache/exec
