The Team + The Role The Pendo for Agents team builds Pendo's AI and agent product area, a large greenfield surface where much of the architecture is being defined as the team builds. This team operates at the center of a fast-moving product space where engineering decisions shape both the customer experience and the technical foundation for future scale. As Senior Manager, Engineering, you will own technical direction for Pendo for Agents end to end and be fully accountable for delivery, engineering quality, and the talent pipeline. You will partner closely with Product, Design, Staff and Principal engineers, and adjacent Engineering leaders to make high-quality architecture decisions, guide execution, and grow a team that can move quickly without over-building. This role is based in our New York City office. What this looks like day-to-day Team leadership: Lead, coach, and manage a team of approximately four engineers today, with the role growing into ownership of two teams as the product area scales. You will support onboarding, professional development, and the growth of strong individual contributors and emerging technical leaders. Architecture ownership: Own the technical direction for the Pendo for Agents architecture end to end. You will partner with Staff and Principal engineers on build-versus-buy decisions, including when to use existing frameworks and when to build in-house. Delivery execution: Guide prioritization, planning, and execution across the team while maintaining a healthy delivery cadence. You will own delivery commitments across sprint and quarterly planning cycles and hold the team accountable to outcomes. Cross-functional partnership: Partner with Product and Design to deliver high-quality features using Agile development practices. You will align on scope, sequencing, and risk while surfacing engineering constraints early and maintaining trust under pressure. Player-coach technical leadership: Stay hands-on in architecture and technical pro

The Team + The Role Pendo is rebuilding for the AI era, with new products, new buyers, and new ways to deliver value to customers. The Customer Growth and Lifecycle function sits at the center of that shift, helping turn customer engagement into a deliberate, repeatable, compounding growth motion. This team connects product usage, customer behavior, experimentation, and lifecycle programs to help customers get more value from Pendo. As Director, Customer Growth & Lifecycle, you will own the lifecycle motion from first login to fully embedded power user. You will design the experiments, programs, and data-driven interventions that make engagement intentional rather than accidental, using Pendo’s own platform and analytics to understand what moves adoption, retention, and expansion. You will also lead a team of approximately five Adoption Managers and Pendo’s Center of Excellence / Product Operations function. This is a role based in-office in Raleigh or New York, or Remote in the East Coast. What this looks like day-to-day Customer lifecycle ownership: Build, iterate, and optimize the full digital customer journey from onboarding through expansion. You will start with functional lifecycle infrastructure and make it more measurable, scalable, and compounding. Behavior-to-action strategy: Use Pendo’s own analytics to identify where users find value, where they drop off, and which interventions move the needle. You will scope and prove your own work rather than waiting on an analyst to define the opportunity. Scaled Pendo-on-Pendo execution: Act as one of Pendo’s most important internal practitioners of the product. Design and ship cross-channel experiments across in-app guides, email, NPS, segmentation, and other lifecycle channels that show customers what great product engagement looks like. Roadmap influence: Bring front-line visibility into customer behavior directly into product conversations. Your insights will help shape feature decisions and improve how Pend

You’ll own this work end to end, from the first framing conversation with senior leaders through to delivering a program running at scale. AI is changing how Engineering builds software, and it is changing how People builds the programs that support Engineering too. MongoDB is standing up a dedicated ISV Partnerships function, and this Director role is the leadership seat at the center of that effort. You will own the strategy and execution of MongoDB's ISV partner program across a team of partner managers, covering both industry-specific ISVs in verticals like financial services, healthcare, insurance, retail, and manufacturing, and horizontal AI-native ISVs building platforms and tools that serve builders across industries. This is a greenfield program. You will have real ownership over how it is built, the methodology your team follows, how success is defined and measured, and how the function earns credibility with Sales, Product, and executive leadership. We're looking for a Systems Technologist to shape how AI is woven into our customer support operation. This is a hands-on, systems-minded role at the center of how Customer Operations functions: integrating external tools and internal platforms, building workflow automation, and enabling self-help.
