A World-Changing Company Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. The Role Palantir's Offensive Security team probes our own products, infrastructure, and cloud environment the way a real attacker would. As an Offensive Security Engineer, you will test internal applications and infrastructure, chain findings into realistic attack paths, and work directly with the engineers responsible for the affected systems to get issues closed. A growing part of the team’s work is also developing agentic offensive security tooling: LLM-driven systems that encode operator tradecraft and apply it continuously. You will help in the design of that tooling and prove it out on live assessments. You will also help to coordinate third-party penetration testing engagements, scoping the work with specialized external firms, keeping assessments focused on the risks that matter, and turning their results into concrete remediation.

A World-Changing Company Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. The Role We're looking for an Information Security Engineer who can think broadly about how infrastructure is built, attacked, defended, and improved. You may have deep experience in one area—such as endpoint security, Active Directory, Data Loss Prevention, cloud security, identity, or detection and response—but you’re motivated by solving security problems across the environment. As an Information Security Engineer focused on infrastructure security, you'll help protect Palantir's global endpoints, servers, identity systems, applications, networks, and data flows. You'll work across teams to reduce attack surface, improve defensive controls, investigate security events, and turn security findings into durable architectural and operational improvements. This is not just a corporate security role; the adversaries we face are sophisticated. We need someone who understands both the details and the broader system: how a weakness in one part of the environment can create risk somewhere else, how controls interact, and how to build security improvements that hold up in practice.

About Us: AI needs a new infrastructure layer. We're building it at Modal. Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now. Our customers include category-defining companies like Lovable , Ramp , Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale. We recently raised a $355M Series C at a $4.65B valuation, led by General Catalyst and Redpoint Ventures. We've crossed $300M+ ARR and grown fivefold since September. Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g., Seaborn , Luig i ), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience. The Role: Modal builds AI infrastructure products that developers love. That's how we grew so quickly and why word-of-mouth remains one of our most important channels today. From powering one of the largest vibe-coding platforms at Lovable to enabling teams like Ramp to build their own internal coding agents , Modal Sandboxes are used by developers to safely execute AI-generated code at scale. We're now hiring our first developer relations engineer focused on Modal Sandboxes.
