Synthesia is the world’s leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US. As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations. Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow. Location: Europe remote or London hybrid About the role: As our engineering and research organisation grows, so does the complexity of securing it. Our Application Security team is at the forefront of that challenge — building AI-native security tooling, embedding security into the development lifecycle at scale, and finding ways to make a small, highly capable team punch well above its weight. We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow the AppSec team. This is not a coordination role. You'll be leading a team of exceptionally senior and staff-level engineers who are deeply self-directed and technically excellent. To earn their trust and enable their best work, you'll need to be genuinely close to the craft — able to engage at depth on threat modelling, agentic security tooling, SDLC design, and application risk. You'll also own AppSec strategy and be accountable for how the function scales alongside a product organisation that is growing fast and leaning heavily into AI-assisted development. Important note: Anyone working as a manager within the Infosec team will need to follow the Infosec Team Management Tenets . About the Role & Team We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Delivery and SDK team within Statsig at Amplitude. This team builds the systems that connect developers to Statsig and safely deliver product experiences to end users around the world. The team owns two foundational areas: Delivery: The globally distributed systems that evaluate Experiments and Feature Gates and deliver the resulting experiences to end users. These systems sit directly in the critical path of our customers’ applications, making availability, scale, correctness, and latency essential. SDKs: More than 30 SDKs spanning web, mobile, server, edge, TV, gaming, and emerging platforms. Our goal is to meet developers wherever they build and give them an ergonomic, reliable way to integrate Statsig into any application or technology stack. This is a uniquely broad technical leadership role. You’ll work across distributed systems, mobile platforms, server runtimes, edge environments, and developer tooling—sometimes all in the same week. We’re looking for a hands-on, technically versatile leader who enjoys moving between technologies, learning unfamiliar systems, and solving problems across abstraction boundaries. You don’t need to be the world’s foremost expert in a single language or platform. You do need the curiosity and technical judgment to work effectively across many of them—and the ability to build a team that can make a complex, polyglot ecosystem feel simple and dependable to developers. What You’ll Do Lead and grow the team responsible for Statsig’s global delivery infrastructure and ecosystem of 30+ SDKs. Experience leading a team of 8-10 team members Define the technical strategy for highly available, low-latency evaluation and delivery systems operating at global scale. About The Role & Team Amplitude is the leading AI analytics platform, and our ability to deliver measurable customer outcomes quickly is a key part of how we keep that lead. The Customer FDE (Forward Deployed Engineering) team sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success — owning the technical delivery that takes validated products from co-development and implements them across enterprise customers. As a Customer Forward Deployed Engineer, you will own end-to-end technical delivery for enterprise customer implementations, from sales engagement through post-deployment validation. You'll work directly in Amplitude's product codebase, submitting PRs, shipping customer-specific solutions, and building reusable patterns that make every successive engagement faster. This is not a traditional support or solutions role. Customer FDEs are engineers first who partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to turn customer needs into working software. The right person thrives in ambiguity, learns new domains quickly, and cares as much about the customer's outcome as about technical elegance. As a Customer Forward Deployed Engineer, you will: Own enterprise implementations end-to-end — engage during sales to map customer needs to capabilities, scope implementation plans, and deliver through post-deployment validation with measurable customer outcomes Work directly in the product codebase — submit PRs, test, and ship customer-specific solutions without requiring constant oversight; over time, the gap between "what we built" and "what the customer needs" keeps shrinking because you're the one closing it Ship early, ship often, and gather feedback — treat every customer interaction as an opportunity to validate your approach and course-correct quickly Build reusable patterns and playbooks — when you solve something once, make sure the next person doesn't have to solve it again; identify and document implementation patterns that

About The Role & Team Amplitude is only as useful as the data inside it. The Data Connections team owns how that data gets in and out — importing behavioral and customer data from cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery, from cloud object storage like S3 and Azure Blob Storage, and pushing enriched event data back out to warehouses, object storage, streaming destinations, and downstream advertising and marketing platforms. That means batch and streaming pipelines moving billions of events a day, connections that have to keep working across dozens of customer-controlled systems, credentials and configuration that have to stay correct and secure, and latency and reliability targets that customers build their own pipelines on top of. Recent work includes launching new warehouse export destinations, migrating our import pipelines onto a durable workflow engine, building low-latency streaming export, and supporting cross-region and cross-cloud customer storage. You'll lead a team of around 10 engineers building this, reporting to our Head of Data Platform, and you'll be the person accountable for the roadmap, the reliability, and the growth of the people on it. The stack is Java, Temporal, Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, DynamoDB, S3, and Snowflake, running on AWS and GCP. Responsibilities Set the direction and roadmap for data import and export, with clear priorities and tradeoffs you can explain to engineers, PMs, and customers Lead, coach, and grow a team of around 10 engineers — hiring, career development, feedback, and performance Partner with your tech leads on architecture across ingestion, transformation, and delivery, without becoming the bottleneck for every decision Own reliability, SLOs, and cost efficiency for pipelines customers depend on daily Expand the set of destinations and sources we support, and make each new integration cheaper to build than the last Work directly with Product, Design, and other Data Platform teams to ship e
