Discovery UX sits at the intersection of product innovation and high-scale infrastructure. Every Roblox user starts their journey on the homepage, and every Roblox developer needs to find their correct audience. Our team works closely with product and engineering teams across Roblox to bridge this gap by improving the user journey from landing on Roblox to joining an experience. We primarily work on Home, Search, Charts, and Experience Details pages, for both the Roblox website and app. As a Principal Software Engineer , you will craft robust, extensible systems for high-traffic surfaces. While you are a frontend expert at heart, you are a versatile engineer who isn't afraid to dive into the backend or data pipelines to ship a complete feature. You will drive solutions using React and modern technologies, helping us build efficiently across devices. Roblox's Cache team is building a next-generation caching solution designed to deliver sub-millisecond average latency, horizontal scalability, and high efficiency—all at a drastically lower cost. Our ultimate vision is to shape a caching infrastructure capable of supporting 1 billion Daily Active Users while reducing costs by 90%. We are turning hours of onboarding and capacity expansion into seconds, freeing service owners entirely from managing cluster lifecycles. As a Senior Engineer on the Cache team (part of the Infra Storage org), you will innovate and operate large-scale, in-house distributed systems to solve Roblox's ever-growing caching challenges. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager for the Cache team. (Check out our recent engineering blog post here to learn more about the team's latest work!) You will: Lead the architectural transition to a next-generation, multitenant caching service built on ValKey, ensuring strict data, resource, and failure isolation for all tenants. Drive systemic optimizations to mitigate head-of-line blocking, manage hot keys, and maximize CPU and memory utilization across physical machine clusters. Design and build robust frameworks to a

About the Team The Storage organization builds and operates the online stateful systems and abstractions that DoorDash Engineering depends on: reliable, efficient, secure, and easy to use. Within Storage, the Distributed Caching team owns every caching offering at DoorDash end to end, including ElastiCache (Redis/Valkey), Boulder (our KVRocks-based key-value store for high-QPS feature serving), Entity Cache (read Bill Shen’s engineering blog post, “ High-Performance Proxy Cache for DoorDash Services ”), and the Distributed Lock Service, plus the smart clients (asgard-redis, valkey-go) that sit in front of them. These systems back critical product surfaces across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo: the team runs roughly 400 ElastiCache clusters serving hundreds of millions of GET requests per second in aggregate, and Boulder, our offline-to-online feature store, serves billions of feature lookups per second at peak. About the Role The team owns provisioning of clusters and the smart clients that sit in front of them, baking in sensible defaults so that other engineering teams get a turnkey caching solution instead of having to run their own. You'll help drive Boulder's evolution to scale further, improve cost efficiency, enhance performance, and support real-time updates; re-platform the Distributed Lock Service onto a strongly consistent backend; and build the self-serve tooling and recommendation engine that let customers describe a workload (QPS, TTL, payload size, latency profile) and get the right backend without talking to a human. You'll go deep on cache invalidation, replication, sharding, compaction, and failover, while shipping the guardrails, automation, and observability that keep this scale operable by a small team. You must be located in San Francisco, Seattle, or the New York Metro Area for this hybrid position. You will report to the Engineering Manager on the Distributed Caching team within the Storage organization. You’re excited about this opportunity b
About the Team Our mission is to provide a world-class development experience that makes DoorDash's web engineers among the most productive in the industry. We achieve this by creating the tools that enable all teams at the company to ship features quickly and reliably. Because their success is our success, we are deeply invested in building a strong, collaborative web community that champions best practices and welcomes participation. About the Role As a Software Engineer on the Developer Experience team, you will build the foundational pieces for all DoorDash, Wolt and Deliveroo Web applications. These include monorepos, build & CI systems and agent-first development tooling. You will work closely with engineers and other internal stakeholders to deliver large and impactful initiatives. Additionally, you will be a culture carrier for our Web engineers through mentorship, education, and engagement of your peers. You will report into the Engineering Manager of our Web Developer Experience team in our Developer Platform organization. You must be located in either San Francisco, CA, Sunnyvale, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Seattle, WA, or New York, NY. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Shape the future of Web Development. You will have a direct and meaningful impact on the daily workflows of every web engineer at the company, enhancing their productivity and overall developer experience. Build from the ground up. You will architect and implement foundational libraries, cutting-edge build systems, and innovative development tools that serve as the bedrock for all of our web applications. Solve complex, high-impact challenges. You will tackle some of the most significant technical hurdles in web engineering, and the solutions you deliver will be leveraged by hundreds of employees across numerous product teams. Act as a force multiplier. Your work will directly empower product teams to build, test, and release new features to our customers fa
AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and n8n are quickly becoming the default way developers build with AI — and MongoDB wants to be the data platform that shows up everywhere they build. As part of the AI Builders Experience (ABX) org, we're standing up a brand new engineering team in Gurugram to make that happen, and we're looking for Senior Software Engineers to be among its founding members. The team owns the connective layer between MongoDB and third-party AI frameworks, platforms, and tools — the integrations that let developers use MongoDB effectively with the AI stack they've already chosen. That means shipping into some of the fastest-moving open-source ecosystems in tech, working mostly in Python and TypeScript, and partnering with the Database Experience (DBX) org when an integration needs new driver, platform, or product capability underneath it. This is a self-sufficient team by design. You and your engineering manager will be based in Gurugram, and the group is set up to own its area end to end: to decide how integrations get built, tested, released, and maintained, without waiting on another time zone to unblock the day-to-day. You'll work closest with the engineers sitting next to you, pairing on hard problems, reviewing each other's code, and dividing up a broad portfolio, while collaborating with product, partners, field teams, and open source maintainers as the work requires. You'll integrate with fast-moving, often unproven technologies, make pragmatic calls in the face of ambiguity, and own high-visibility projects with minimal guidance. Priorities can shift week to week based on framework changes, customer demand, and partner needs, so we're looking for product-minded engineers who thrive on autonomy and take pride in shipping. Much of your work will happen in public: sending pull requests to upstream repositories, working through external maintainer review cycles, and representing MongoDB in developer communities.
