Core Job Summary Position Summary: Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards. Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs and other related duties may be assigned. Scope of Responsibilities: Receives predetermined work assignments with incremental objectives and defined processes, subject to a moderate level of control and review. Directs subordinates to complete assignments using established guidelines and procedures. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees and recommends changes to unit, sub-unit, or discipline policies. Works on assignment
