Forward was founded in 2013 by four Stanford Ph.D.s, building the industry's first network digital twin: a mathematically accurate model of the production network. It's the foundation for autonomous networking, giving engineers and AI agents the ability to know the impact of every change before it touches production. That founding instinct still defines how we work. We're accurate and evidence-driven, relentless about clarity, and we'd rather be certain than comfortable, building a groundbreaking platform that transforms how teams run and secure networks across every major cloud and vendor environment. Global leaders like Goldman Sachs, PayPal, S&P Global, IBM, and Dell trust Forward, alongside fast-growing enterprises and government agencies, realizing an average of $14.2 million in annual benefits, according to IDC. Backed by top-tier investors, including A. Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Goldman Sachs, MSD Partners, Omega Venture Partners, Section 32, and Threshold Ventures, and headquartered in Santa Clara, we're most proud of our team: curious people who'd rather build what doesn't exist than accept how things have always been done. Forward is currently seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to work as part of our Platforms team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and scaling the core backend services and infrastructure that support our SaaS and on-prem deployments. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the stability, performance, and scalability of our platform, helping to ensure an exceptional experience for our customers. Responsibilities: Platform development: Contribute to the design and development of storage systems, job scheduling systems, data ingestion frameworks, monitoring frameworks etc to ensure high system performance and availability. Feature development: Build and maintain backend frameworks that support essential platform features Scalability & Reliability: Develop scalable, high-performing

We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that. We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft. We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us! Why this role? The Data Infrastructure team at Cohere is responsible for the storage and data movement layer underlying every model training run. We're building the unified storage layer that feeds our training workloads. It needs to serve petabytes of training data and model checkpoints fast enough to keep thousands of GPUs busy across several training clusters. In this role, you’d have an opportunity to build this system from the ground up. You’d be a key contributor, working on a problem few teams have had to solve at this scale. In this role, you will: Design, build, and operate the distributed storage system that feeds model training and evaluation. Run this system multiple on Kubernetes clusters at petabyte scale. Work with researchers and training-infra teams on how jobs actually read and write data, and turn that into throughput, latency, and durability requirements Work through the networking, I/O, and consistency problems of moving large datasets and checkpoints across regions and backends, with GPU idle time and time-to-insight as the measures of success You may be a good fit if you have: Strong storage fundamentals,

About Supabase Supabase is the Postgres development platform, built by developers for developers. We provide a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. All services are deeply integrated and designed for growth. About the Role We are seeking a platform engineer to join our Compute Capacity team. This team owns the capacity plan that keeps compute supply ahead of demand across every region we operate in — the forecasting, buffer policy, and provisioning systems that make sure a project never runs into a wall it didn't know was there. You'll work on the systems that turn a capacity plan into provisioned reality: reservation acquisition, fleet reconciliation, and the automation that keeps what we've committed to in sync with what we're actually running. You'll help build the metrics and alerting that let capacity problems surface months out, on vendor lead time, rather than at the moment someone needs the room. You'll design, build, and operate systems that are both robust and highly automated — helping us hold the right buffer at the right cost, catch drift before it becomes a shortage, and give every team a single, trustworthy view of how much room we have across the millions of databases we manage. What You'll Be Responsible For Help build and maintain the capacity plan that keeps Supabase's compute supply ahead of demand across regions and instance families Support buffer policy by modeling headroom targets and their cost tradeoffs for review and sign-off Build and maintain automation that turns the capacity plan into provisioned reality — reservation acquisition and top-up, fleet reconciliation, drift detection between committed and running capacity Extend our infrastructure as code for capacity-relevant provisioning Instrument capacity: build and maintain metrics for saturation, reservation coverage, idle buffer, forecast error, and provisioning latency Build and tune capacity alerting so headroom,

About Us: AI needs a new infrastructure layer. We're building it at Modal. Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now. Our customers include category-defining companies like Lovable , Ramp , Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale. We recently raised a $355M Series C at a $4.65B valuation, led by General Catalyst and Redpoint Ventures. We've crossed $300M+ ARR and grown fivefold since September. Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g., Seaborn , Luig i ), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience. The Role: At Modal, we sell cloud services atop which our customers run their critical production systems. As a rapidly growing new cloud infrastructure company, we seek to improve our reliability dramatically while scaling the size of our platform, customer base, and our team. This role is for people who are deep systems thinkers, love stacking nines, and thrive from making others move faster at scale. About The Role & Team Amplitude is only as useful as the data inside it. The Data Connections team owns how that data gets in and out — importing behavioral and customer data from cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery, from cloud object storage like S3 and Azure Blob Storage, and pushing enriched event data back out to warehouses, object storage, streaming destinations, and downstream advertising and marketing platforms. That means batch and streaming pipelines moving billions of events a day, connections that have to keep working across dozens of customer-controlled systems, credentials and configuration that have to stay correct and secure, and latency and reliability targets that customers build their own pipelines on top of. Recent work includes launching new warehouse export destinations, migrating our import pipelines onto a durable workflow engine, building low-latency streaming export, and supporting cross-region and cross-cloud customer storage. You'll lead a team of around 10 engineers building this, reporting to our Head of Data Platform, and you'll be the person accountable for the roadmap, the reliability, and the growth of the people on it. The stack is Java, Temporal, Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, DynamoDB, S3, and Snowflake, running on AWS and GCP. Responsibilities Set the direction and roadmap for data import and export, with clear priorities and tradeoffs you can explain to engineers, PMs, and customers Lead, coach, and grow a team of around 10 engineers — hiring, career development, feedback, and performance Partner with your tech leads on architecture across ingestion, transformation, and delivery, without becoming the bottleneck for every decision Own reliability, SLOs, and cost efficiency for pipelines customers depend on daily Expand the set of destinations and sources we support, and make each new integration cheaper to build than the last Work directly with Product, Design, and other Data Platform teams to ship e
