DoorDash USA
📍 San Francisco• Full-time

About the Team The Code Quality team sits within the Developer Platform organization and owns the systems that keep DoorDash's codebase healthy and secure as it scales: static analysis, quality gates, test frameworks, regression infrastructure, and tooling. Our job is to make sure the signals engineers rely on before shipping — test results, coverage, performance feedback etc — are fast and trustworthy. The decisions we make about tooling and standards directly shape how confidently and quickly engineering teams at DoorDash can ship to production. About the Role We're looking for Software Engineers to help build and maintain the systems that validate code quality across DoorDash's engineering org, treating our tooling as a critical product for the engineers who rely on it every day: static analysis and quality gates, test frameworks and regression infrastructure. You’ll design the tooling and automation that will help derive trustworthy quality signals, integrate them into the development lifecycle, and make it easy for engineers to execute reliable, repeatable workflows. You will collaborate across the engineering org, partnering directly with the teams who use what you build to understand the accuracy, reliability and performance of their functionality. You will report into the Engineering Manager on our Code Quality team in our Developer Platform organization. You must be located in either San Francisco, CA, Sunnyvale, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Seattle, WA, or New York, NY. You're excited about this opportunity because you will… Build and maintain quality tooling — static analysis, quality gates, coverage reporting, test frameworks, regression infrastructure — and integrate it directly into our developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines Define and derive quality signals - flakiness, pass rate, coverage, performance, scale readiness etc - Build tooling that improves everyday engineering workflows, including local development, CI/CD, debugging, and rollou

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done. Senior Software Engineer — Cortex Training The Snowflake ML Platform team's mission is to let customers run their most demanding ML/AI workloads inside Snowflake. Cortex Training is our LLM post-training platform: it turns scarce, expensive GPU capacity into a simple, composable service, so customers can adapt open-weight foundation models to their own business problems while we handle the hard distributed-systems parts, including scheduling, orchestration, multi-node training and inference, fault tolerance, and throughput. The platform already runs post-training at scale. Under the hood, it decouples GPU computation from the training loop and exposes it as primitive APIs that compose into everything from SFT to full RL workflows. You'll work alongside a team that ships fast & sweats reliability and the researchers behind DeepSpeed. We're looking for an engineer who thrives in the ML infrastructure layer and brings a solid understanding of LLMs and post-training to help us scale and grow it. YOU WILL: Design and build across the full stack — from the public training APIs and SDK through the control plane to the GPU data plane. Scale the distributed systems that make GPU compute serverless — multi-tenant scheduling, placement, and capacity-aware routing across regional G

Modal
📍 New York• Full-time

About Us: AI needs a new infrastructure layer. We're building it at Modal. Every era of computing brought new workloads that previous infrastructure couldn't support: mainframes, databases, and the cloud. Each time, the company that rebuilt the layer underneath defined the decade. AI is no different, except it touches everything instead of one slice, and the window to build the layer underneath it is open right now. Our customers include category-defining companies like Lovable , Ramp , Cognition, DoorDash, and Suno. They rely on Modal for instant GPU access, sub-second container starts, and native storage, so it's simple to serve low-latency inference, fine-tune models, and access production-ready sandboxes at scale. We recently raised a $355M Series C at a $4.65B valuation, led by General Catalyst and Redpoint Ventures. We've crossed $300M+ ARR and grown fivefold since September. Our team includes creators of popular open-source projects (e.g., Seaborn , Luig i ), academic researchers, international olympiad medalists, and experienced engineering and product leaders with decades of experience. The Role: We’re looking for an Infrastructure Security Engineer to design and secure the core systems that power our platform. This role focuses on building security directly into our infrastructure—from container isolation and orchestration to identity and secrets management in a multi-tenant, cloud-native environment. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to define secure primitives and ensure our platform is resilient, scalable, and trustworthy by design. This is a hands-on, deeply technical role focused on real systems, not compliance or policy. What You'll Do: Platform & Runtime Security Design and improve isolation mechanisms for multi-tenant workloads (containers, sandboxing, execution environments) Strengthen boundaries between customers, workloads, and internal systems Identify and mitigate risks in distributed, dynamic compute environments Container &

Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Washington D.C., London and Amsterdam. Team: Plaid is becoming an AI-first company, and Intelligent Tooling builds internal platforms and tools to lead the transformation. Our biggest opportunity isn't just better tools for engineers, it's extending AI-native internal tooling to the rest of Plaid. Tools built for engineers assume things non-engineers don't have: local toolchains, monorepos, engineer credentials, PR-based workflows. That mismatch means Ops, Support, and other teams can't easily inherit what we build for engineering. They need their own path and we're building that path. Role: As a Senior Software Engineer on Intelligent Tooling, you will build and operate internal systems that empower non engineering teams to automate their workflows with AI.
