About the Team ValMo is Meesho's logistics and supply chain organization, responsible for building India's most cost-efficient, reliable, and scalable fulfillment network. From first-mile pickup to last-mile delivery and reverse logistics, ValMo powers millions of shipments every month for small businesses across the country. As we scale, the complexity of our network increases exponentially. ValMo operates at the intersection of technology, operations, and partner ecosystems — where execution precision and systems thinking are critical to prevent cascading (domino) failures across the network. About the Role The Control Tower is where the stability, reliability, and cost-efficiency of ValMo's pan-India network is owned end-to-end. This is a deliberately generalist role in Fulfilment & Experience - your mandate is defined by an outcome, not a fixed function. Put simply: you are the person we point at the highest-leverage problem threatening the network, and you figure it out from first principles. The specific problem changes with what the network needs. In one quarter you might be redesigning the topology of a region; in the next, rebuilding the capacity-planning engine, running a structural cost-out program, firefighting an RTO or CX spike, or standing up readiness for a peak event - including problems that don't yet have an owner. What stays constant is the accountability: keep the network stable, predictable, and cost-efficient no matter what breaks or scales.

About the Team OpenAI’s acquisition of io marks our entry into consumer hardware and our ambition to define the next human–computer interface. Success in hardware requires strong financial stewardship across the full product cost stack—from early design and sourcing decisions through manufacturing, logistics, inventory, returns, and warranty. Hardware Finance works across Product, Supply Chain, Operations, Accounting, Systems/Data, and Finance to connect business decisions to product cost, inventory, cash, COGS, and margin. About the Role We are seeking a Hardware Finance Manager to own an assigned area of hardware COGS and inventory end to end. The initial assignment will depend on business priorities and the successful candidate’s expertise. It may include BOM and product cost, manufacturing variance analysis, inventory planning, logistics, returns and warranty, customer support, or another connected set of hardware-finance responsibilities. This is an individual-contributor role with broad scope. Prior hardware experience and deep, hands-on expertise in at least two relevant domains are required. The person will be expected to operate independently, build reusable processes and analytical workflows, and remain accountable for the analysis, judgment, and recommendations. In this role, you will: Own an assigned area of hardware COGS and inventory end to end. Own forecasting, close, and business variance analysis for the assigned scope. Provide hardware leadership with clear variance explanations, trend analysis, and forward-looking signals that connect business and supplier decisions to inventory, cash, COGS, and margin. What you’ll do Own day-to-day operations for the scanner program and scanner builds in the spa: purchasing/procurement, vendor management, receiving, inventory, and logistics. Stand up lightweight production operations as we move from prototypes to repeatable builds: build planning, kitting, work instructions, and readiness checklists. Partner with Quality to ensure the operational system supports compliance: traceability, document control, training records, NCR/CAPA workflows, and audit readiness. Drive cross-functional execution for the physical spa build-out and scanner integration: schedules, dependencies, risk register, and weekly coordination with vendors and internal teams. Own the “integration glue” across facilities + device ops: commissioning plans, acceptance criteria, and operational handoff (runbooks, maintenance, spares, escalation paths). Build and track operational metrics: cost, budget, lead times, vendor performance, build throughput, and reliability of critical subsystems. Audit of import/export documentation, management of contract renewals, regulatory compliance. What we’re looking for Proven operations leadership in hardware/medical/robotics (or similarly complex electromechanical products), including procurement and vendor management. Strong program management instincts: can run schedules, unblock cross-functional dependencies, and keep priorities clear under ambiguity. Comfort operating in quality/regulatory environments and building processes that are rigorous without slowing a small team. High ownership and bias to action: can jump between spreadsheets, docks, and the lab/site to keep the program moving. Useful experience Experience running prototype-to-production transitions (NPI, EVT/DVT/PVT-style builds, CM/EMS collaboration). Facilities / construction operations experience (GC coordination, MEP commissioning, site readiness). Familiarity with inventory systems and procurement tooling (even “simple but disciplined”).
