About the Team OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity. The Identity team builds the foundational systems that enable people, organizations, devices, and agents to securely access OpenAI products. The team works across consumer and enterprise experiences, including account structures, sign-in, authentication, recovery, privacy, permissions, administration, and agent identity. As AI systems become increasingly capable of acting on behalf of people and organizations, we are defining new models for authorization and trust across human-to-agent and agent-to-agent interactions. About the Role In this role, you’ll lead design for foundational identity experiences across OpenAI’s products. You’ll make permissions, access, risk, and administration feel clear, safe, and genuinely usable—whether someone is securing a personal account, administering access across an enterprise, signing in to another product with ChatGPT, or authorizing an agent to perform sensitive work. Your work will span established identity challenges and emerging interaction models without established design conventions. You’ll help define how users understand what an agent can access, who or what it is acting on behalf of, and when confirmation or stronger authentication should appear. Working closely with product, engineering, security, privacy, and design, you’ll translate complex policies and technical systems into coherent, trustworthy experiences. This role is based in our San Francisco HQ. We offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Lead the design direction for identity, account security, permissions, and administrative experiences across OpenAI’s consumer and enterprise products. Design and ship high-quality experiences spanning sign-in, authentication, account recovery, device accounts, privacy, access controls, governance, and remediation. Define mental models and interaction patterns for human-to-agent and

The Safety Engineering team builds the platforms and tools that make OpenAI’s models safe to use in the real world. We partner closely with researchers, product teams, and policy to turn safety ideas into reliable, scalable systems: measuring risk, enforcing safeguards, and continuously improving how models behave in production. Our work sits at the intersection of product engineering, data, and AI, and directly shapes how millions of people experience OpenAI’s technology. About the Role We’re looking for a self-starter engineer who loves building products in an iterative, fast-moving environment—especially internal tools that unlock real-world impact. In this role, you’ll build full-stack tooling for our Safety Systems teams that directly improves the safety and reliability of OpenAI’s models, including in sensitive areas like mental health and other vulnerable-user protections. Your work will increase the team’s velocity in identifying and fixing safety issues and help tighten the feedback loop between policy, data, and the model training cycle. In this role, you will: Own the end-to-end development of internal tools that help improve the safety of OpenAI’s models (with a focus on areas like mental health and other vulnerable-user protections) Partner closely with Safety Systems researchers, engineers, and model policy creators to understand workflows, pain points, and requirements—and translate them into durable product solutions Build full-stack experiences to support core model policy workflows, such as labeling and inspecting data, analyzing and reviewing failure cases, and surfacing insights for iteration Optimize internal applications f

Who We Are Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together . We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. About the Role: We’re seeking an experienced UX Researcher to define and scale how we evaluate Notion’s AI-powered experiences—focusing on what “good” looks like not only for model output quality, but for the end-to-end product experience where people discover, set goals, delegate work, review results, and build trust over time with AI. This role sits at the intersection of research craft and evaluation operations: you’ll run studies that uncover user mental models, expectations, and failure/recovery behaviors, then translate those insights into reusable rubrics, workflows, and measurement approaches that product, design, engineering, and data science can apply consistently. This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to work alongside the team during those days. What You'll Achieve: Define what “good” looks like (frameworks & rubrics): Establish clear, reusable evaluation criteria that reflect real user expectations—helpfulness,

Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence. This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk. The Agent Gateway Team The Agent Gateway team owns the identity-aware infrastructure that connects enterprise AI agents to the tools, data, and services their organizations authorize. Every call from Claude, Agentforce,, Codex, and internal/homegrown agents to a resource flows through us. We enforce authorization, isolate credentials, mint the right token per target, and produce the audit trails that security teams rely on. We are early in a rapidly evolving space. The standards (MCP, XAA, ID JAG, DCR for agents,CIMD) are being built under our feet. Our roadmap includes hardening the data plane for on-premises customer deployments, extending policy semantics beyond tool-level allowlists, adding native support for Agent-to-Agent brokered delegation, XAA and scaling to tenants with thousands of virtual MCP servers. The Staff Software Engineer Opportunity Okta is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to serve as a technical anchor for the Agent Gateway team. You will own critical parts of the data and control planes and drive architectural design as the MCP and agent identity specs evolve. In this role, you will work close to the metal on request routing, token exchange, credential resolution, and policy evaluation. You will work equally close to the identity control plane on config bundles, tenant fanout, and operational rollouts. You are expected to make sharp technology choices, prototype with agentic tooling, and turn rough product ideas into product
