Linear
📍 European Union• Full-time
1mo ago

At Linear, we're building the product development system for teams and agents. AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built, and we’re shaping the tools this new era requires. Founded in 2019, Linear has become the platform of choice for more than 40,000 companies (including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp) to plan, build, and ship their products. Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship. Quality is our competitive advantage. Every member of our fully remote team is a maker at heart, caring deeply about the quality and feel of our work. While the industry optimizes for speed and metrics alone, we believe that craft and quality have lasting value. Quality creates gravity — it pulls people toward our team and product rather than requiring us to push. This philosophy drives everything we do, from product decisions to hiring choices. For this role, we expect robust design skills, sharp product thinking, and the ability to engage in technical discussions. We work in small, autonomous project teams, where engineers are paired tightly with designers to explore ideas, build prototypes, deploy internal builds, and ultimately ship to customers. You will be a key element of projects from beginning to end. Location & work mode Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America and Europe. You can work from anywhere within this region. We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel. What you'll do Pair closely with engineering and product to initiate and complete roadmap projects, no hand-offs Spot opportunities to redesign or refine key screens and flows, as well as smaller qualit

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation. About the Role: This is a Principal Product Engineering role focused on Money Infrastructure at Replit. You’ll work on the financial backbone that powers how Replit earns money, how builders earn money, and how Agents transact. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and the business. The systems you build directly impact revenue, trust, and some of the most critical user journeys on the platform. Getting them right enables growth, experimentation, and global scale. Getting them wrong creates broken payments, confusing pricing, and lost trust. We’re looking for engineers who can design and scale reliable financial systems while translating complex monetary logic into intuitive, user-friendly experiences for both Replit customers and builders on the platform. We love folks who have a passion for monetizing innovation and being a part of the greater pricing story. You will: Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Replit’s core money infrastructure, spanning pricing, billing, payments, and monetization. Own and scale the global order-to-cash foundation supporting credit-based subscriptions, usage-based billing, marketplaces, in-app payments, and commerce for Agents. Enable rapid pricing and packaging experimentation across the company by building flexible abstractions and APIs for new SKUs, plans, and monetization models. Build high-converting, localized payment experiences across geographies — thinking globally while enabling users to pay locally. Power builder monetization by creating payment rails for apps, Agents, subscriptions, and new monetization primitives. Secure Every Identity, from AI to Human Identity is the key to unlocking the potential of AI. Okta secures AI by building the trusted, neutral infrastructure that enables organizations to safely embrace this new era. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence. This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk. Get to know the team The Developer Platform team at Auth0 (an Okta company) owns the platform that developers build identity on. Increasingly they build alongside AI agents, and that raises the bar on everything underneath: interfaces have to hold up whether a person or an agent is calling them, and the systems behind them have to stay reliable and coherent as usage grows. We move fast, we own problems end to end, and we care deeply about the platform we put in front of the developers and agents who depend on it. The opportunity We're hiring a Principal Engineer (P5) to serve as the technical leader and compass for the Developer Platform team. You'll work across the breadth of the platform, tackling the highly complex, vaguely specified problems that span it and turning them into clear technical direction the team can execute against, without day-to-day oversight. Above all, you'll own how the platform is architected to scale: the distributed systems behind it, the reliability and consistency guarantees developers depend on, and the coherence that keeps it easy to build on as usage grows. You'll champion the team's technical execution, raise the engineering bar, mentor the people around you, and partner with tech leads across teams to keep the wider platform aligned. You'll have real influence over how our platform holds up in a world where developers and agents are both first-class consumers. What you'll be doing Own the platform architecture: Set the tech
