Develop strong relationships with key suppliers as well as other disciplines within the businesses. Represent the ‘voice of the supplier’ in the organization Negotiate favorable long-term supply contracts and serve as the escalation point in resolving supplier challenges. Identify supply base risk, develop and implement mitigation plans Utilize market trends to identify and implement appropriate cost controls and business strategy changes.
