New Verticals is everything our customers buy that isn't a restaurant meal: groceries, pharmacy, electronics, the shop on the corner. It's one of the company's growth engines and still largely unsolved as a product problem - a forty-item grocery basket is nothing like ordering dinner. As a Senior Mobile Engineer, iOS - you'll join New Verticals EMEA, the group accountable for that mission across Wolt and Deliveroo in 30+ countries, organised as five teams. Your home team owns quality and cost: making sure customers actually get what they ordered, at a sensible cost of getting a basket to their door. Substitutions, unavailable items, order accuracy - invisible when it works, infuriating when it doesn't.
