About Ramp Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. About the Role As a Payment Operations Specialist at Ramp, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day execution and efficiency of Ramp’s payment operations. You’ll partner closely with the Payments Operations Lead and cross-functional teams across Product, Finance, Customer Support, Risk, and Compliance to ensure smooth and accurate payment processing, issue resolution, and operational excellence. This is a hands-on role focused on coordination, execution, and continuous improvement. You’ll be responsible for helping to maintain accurate payment flows, supporting operational projects, and assisting with cross-functional initiatives that enhance Ramp’s payment systems and risk management processes. What You'll Do Support the Payments Operations Lead in the daily management of payment workflows, including ACH, wire transfers, card payments, and Ramp Business Account transactions. About the Role Ramp is known for insane product velocity, sitting at the center of AI and finance, and saving customers meaningful amounts of time and money. Increasingly, companies come to us to understand how the best finance teams are actually operating, whether that’s our own team or the customers we serve. Right now, those conversations happen behind closed doors and Zoom windows. We want to pull them out, write them down, and make them useful to more people. We’re hiring a Finance Storytelling Lead to do exactly that. You will spend roughly half your time embedded with Ramp’s Finance team, learning what it means to run an AI-pilled finance team at a company building AI solutions for finance. The other half of your time will support customer storytelling with the finance customer in mind, working closely with Brand Communications, Sales, and Customer Marketing. For both, you’ll pull out the useful lessons and turn them into stories people want to learn from, whether that means writing in your own voice or for our CFO and Finance leadership team
