A World-Changing Company Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. The Role Palantir Foundry is an end-to-end platform for data-driven decision-making. We're transforming the way organizations securely integrate their data, so they can then build reliable, critical applications atop that unified foundation. Our customers use Foundry to perform rich analyses that drive core operations within their organizations. They can also build sophisticated, full-fledged programs, such as common operating pictures, alert-triaging inboxes, and resource allocation planning tools driven by rich-ML models. You will be architecting and developing interfaces, state management and access patterns to support data-intensive workflows that are both powerful and approachable. You may spend one day interviewing users to better understand their needs and identifying product gaps to improve. The next day, you might find yourself considering that customer context along with signal gathered from other customers in different industries, brainstorming approaches to handling intricate UX needs with your teammates. You’ll regularly be faced with sophisticated technical problems, requiring you to scope out the solution design and finding an incremental path to shipping the new features. As part of this, you will own APIs and schemas that power your frontend code, or work with other backend engineers in developing them together. We’re hiring engineers who are passionate about solving real-world problems and empowering both developers

A World-Changing Company Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. The Role Palantir's legal team works closely with the business to proactively address legal issues so that Palantir can continue to drive positive impact across the world. Our US Government lawyers are the legal backbone of Palantir's federal government business and are motivated by our mission to serve government clients. As go-to advisors on the contracts that enable Palantir to deploy state-of-the-art technology to solve real-world problems, our goal is to enable US government agency customers to unlock their data and power critical operations. In this role, you will work on every issue Palantir faces in its US government business, including negotiating complex license and services agreements, responding to litigation and regulatory requests, providing strategic advice to business teams, and handling intellectual property, compliance, data privacy, and employment issues. You'll be required to draw on strong communication and interpersonal skills to perform a variety of tasks, whether it's negotiating with a customer, advising business teams on product issues, or troubleshooting a draft proposal. You'll be expected to operate in demanding situations and take on novel, complex issues as they arise. This role requires attention to detail and the broad vision needed to bring large and multi-phase projects to completion. Although this role is grounded in our US government business, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that arise at our fast-paced, mission-oriented company and partner across legal and the wider business to address the complex issues that arise.

A World-Changing Company Palantir builds the world’s leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. By bringing the right data to the people who need it, our platforms empower our partners to develop lifesaving drugs, forecast supply chain disruptions, locate missing children, and more. The Role Forward Deployed Software Engineers (FDSEs) work directly with customers to quickly understand their greatest problems and design and implement solutions to use data against them. Our customers rely on Palantir’s platforms for some of their most critical operations, and projects often start with an open ended question like “Why are we delaying so many flights?” or “How can we better identify instances of money laundering?” As an FDSE, you’ll apply your problem solving ability, creativity, and technical skills to help organizations use their data to drive a real impact in the world. You’ll have the opportunity to gain rare insight into and contribute to some of the world’s most important industries and institutions. As an FDSE on the Tactical Edge, your responsibilities look similar to those of a startup CTO: you’ll work in small teams with minimal supervision and own end-to-end execution of high stakes projects. You’ll apply your problem solving ability, creativity, and technical skills to deploy and manage Palantir software across a variety of hardware form factors, ranging in size, location, and accessibility. Your day might span debugging infrastructure/networking/application issues, discussing architecture with fellow engineers, collaborating with developers to improve the Palantir product offering, speaking with customer executives, or establishing strategy for your team. Whether you aspire to be an entrepreneur or an engineering leader, we believe Palantir is the best place — with the best colleagues — to learn how. You’ll learn how to unpack a problem and understand the costs and consequences of its solution. You’ll learn new technologies and lan
