SUMMARY STATEMENT We are looking for a Solution Architect to design the technical solutions behind our client engagements and give delivery teams a clear, workable path from concept to production. You will work across enterprise data, software applications and GenAI - translating complex business problems into practical architectures that delivery teams can build and scale. This could include architecting an agentic workflow for clinical operations, a conversational analytics product grounded in enterprise data, or an AI-enabled decision platform for commercial teams. You will work directly with clients, define the architecture, test the most important technical decisions yourself and establish the foundations for successful delivery. This is an architecture-first role with meaningful hands-on engineering: you will stay close enough to implementation to prove the architecture works and support it through production delivery, without becoming the primary engineer for every component. You will also help shape the reusable patterns, technical standards and accelerators behind Lynx’s growing AI-native life sciences practice. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Solution Architecture Own the end-to-end solution architecture for client engagements, including data models, system design, integration patterns and technology choices. Translate business requirements into clear technical designs and implementation paths that delivery teams can build from. Design solutions spanning enterprise data, APIs, applications, cloud platforms and GenAI capabilities. Lead technical discovery with clients: understand requirements, assess existing systems and identify dependencies, constraints and delivery risks. Present architectural options and trade-offs clearly to technical teams, business stakeholders and senior leaders. Make pragmatic decisions across build speed, cost, scalability, security and maintainability. Review key implementation decisions and remain

DevX owns Robinhood's monorepo and Bazel-based build infrastructure — the critical layer between a developer writing code and that code being ready to ship — along with the company's full CI/CD pipeline and remote build execution cluster. TestX owns the infrastructure behind Robinhood's entire test experience: the integration test environments, and personal development environments that serve as miniature simulations of the full Robinhood system, giving engineers a safe, isolated space to test their code end-to-end before it ever touches production. Backend Platform and Mobile Platform own the core language runtimes, libraries, IDEs, and developer toolchains across Python, Go, TypeScript, Swift, and Android. About the Team The Alignment team at OpenAI is dedicated to ensuring that our AI systems are safe, trustworthy, and consistently aligned with human values, even as they scale in complexity and capability. Our work is at the cutting edge of AI research, focusing on developing methodologies that enable AI to robustly follow human intent across a wide range of scenarios, including those that are adversarial or high-stakes. We concentrate on the most pressing challenges, ensuring our work addresses areas where AI could have the most significant consequences. By focusing on risks that we can quantify and where our efforts can make a tangible difference, we aim to ensure that our models are ready for the complex, real-world environments in which they will be deployed. The two pillars of our approach are: (1) harnessing improved capabilities into alignment, making sure that our alignment techniques improve, rather than break, as capabilities grow, and (2) centering humans by developing mechanisms and interfaces that enable humans to both express their intent and to effectively supervise and control AIs, even in highly complex situations. About the Role As a Research Engineer / Research Scientist on the Alignment team, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our AI systems consistently follow human intent, even in complex and unpredictable scenarios. Your role will involve designing and implementing scalable solutions that ensure the alignment of AI as their capabilities grow and that integrate human oversight into AI decision-making. This role is especially well suited for someone who can move from an ambiguous model-behavior question to a concrete experimental setup: formulate the hypothesis, build the evaluation or intervention, run the experiment, analyze the result, and decide what the evidence supports. This role may be based in San Francisco or London, subject to team needs and location approval. In this role, you will: We are seeking research engineers and res

Replit
📍 Foster City• Full-time
1mo ago

Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation. The AI Studio is the team responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing internal software platforms across every functional department of the company, including People Operations, Customer Support, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Recruiting, and Executive Operations. We treat each internal department as its own product surface, and in truth as its own startup, with its own customers, its own metrics, and its own reasons for existing. We ship custom software, built on Replit’s own platform, to solve operational problems that off-the-shelf SaaS tools cannot serve well at our scale and pace of growth. Position Summary The Member of Technical Staff (AI Builder) is a full-time builder role with substantial autonomy. You will design, architect, and ship AI-powered internal platforms that run the operations of the company across many departments at once. This is not a role for someone who wants a narrow, well-defined lane. It is a role for someone who wants to walk into an ambiguous business problem, understand it well enough to argue about it with the department lead, and then ship the software that fixes it. We are looking for people who genuinely understand the mechanics of a business: how revenue is actually made, why recruiting velocity matters, what makes support scale or break, how finance closes a month, and why each department is critical to whether the company wins or loses. You do not need to have run every function, but you need to respect why each one exists and be able to reason about it like an operator, not just an engineer. Because we treat each department as its own startup, we strongly favor people who have either run their own business or worked on a fast-scaling startup. You know what it feels like

AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and n8n are quickly becoming the default way developers build with AI — and MongoDB wants to be the data platform that shows up everywhere they build. As part of the AI Builders Experience org at MongoDB, we’re forming a brand new engineering team to make that happen, and we're looking for the founding Engineering Manager to hire the team, set the technical direction, and ship integrations into some of the fastest-moving open-source ecosystems in tech. In this role, you'll be close enough to the code to jump into exploratory work yourself while also building the team, process, and operational rigor to keep a growing integration portfolio healthy long-term. The new team will work mostly in Python and TypeScript while collaborating closely with client library teams and other engineering groups across MongoDB that deliver the underlying driver, platform, and product capabilities needed to support these integrations well. You’ll collaborate closely and move quickly with product, partners, field teams, the developer community, and open source project maintainers to ship where demand is real, deepen investment where adoption proves out, and evolve the portfolio over time as it becomes a critical part of MongoDB’s future in AI. MongoDB engineering teams pride themselves on building high-quality software and living our values every day. We value intellectual curiosity, intellectual honesty, customer empathy, and building together in an environment that prioritizes collaboration over competition.
