About the Role Together AI runs one of the largest GPU fleets in the world. The Infra Agent Systems team builds the software systems that power and automate that infrastructure. We develop production AI agents that diagnose hardware failures, investigate incidents, correlate signals across the fleet, and automate operational workflows. Alongside these agents, we build the platform they run on, including knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, orchestration frameworks, and developer tooling. You’ll work across two areas: Infrastructure Agent Systems — Build production AI agents that help operate our GPU fleet by diagnosing failures, investigating incidents, gathering evidence from live systems, and assisting with remediation. These agents are used every day by our infrastructure and datacenter teams through APIs, CLI, dashboards, and Slack. Core Agent Platform — Build the platform that powers these agents, including knowledge graphs, search and retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, and the tooling that enables agents to reason, act, and continuously improve. We’re working on something that hasn’t really been done before: building knowledge graphs and self-improving AI agents that understand, operate, and continuously improve large-scale AI infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of AI agents, distributed systems, infrastructure, and automation , solving challenging engineering problems with real production impact. There’s an enormous amount to build, learn, and shape as we define the future of autonomous infrastructure. responsible for delivering the software but also for operating and supporting it in production. Why this Role You’ll work on two hard problems at the same time: making AI agents trustworthy enough to operate production infrastructure, and building the knowledge, retrieval, and distributed systems that make those agents effective. You’ll have the opportunity to build foundational systems from the ground up, work on infrastructur

Agents have changed the game for software delivery and efficacy. Diligent is the leading GRC platform in the world, and we are racing ahead to take the agents show on the road and work with the customers where they work . The FDE function will lead the change on how we embed AI agents into some of the world’s most complex governance, risk and compliance environments. This is not a support or consultancy role. It is a builder role, for someone who is equally comfortable reading a failing agent trace, running a discovery workshop with a bank’s internal audit team, and translating what they find into a production-grade agentic solution. You will be building AI agents for GRC professionals , not assistants that surface suggestions, but agents that own complex, multi-step workflows end to end . Agents that customers can hand a task to and trust it will come back done. Closing the gap between a promising prototype and something a company Board and ELT depends on is a completely . Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do Embed directly with major enterprise customers (global banks, regulated corporates) across EU and US ; sitting wi th internal audit teams, risk functions, compliance and governance professionals to understand their real workflows and devise agentic solutions to intelligently automate them creating tremendous efficacy and efficiencies for our customers. Run agent-focused discovery workshops, rapidly prototype agentic solutions, and test them with practitioners; distinguishing between workflows that need an agent and those that need a button. Source, integrate, and move data between enterprise systems as part of live customer implementations — understanding the real data landscape customers operate in and building reliable pipelines to support it . About Scale AI At Scale, our mission is to develop reliable AI systems for the world's most important decisions. Our products provide the high-quality data and full-stack technologies that power the world's leading models, and help enterprises and governments build, deploy, and oversee AI applications that deliver real impact. Scale Frontier Data is the organization behind the training and evaluation data that frontier labs depend on. We build the systems, tooling, and expert workflows that turn hard human expertise into signals that models can learn from, across reasoning, coding, agentic tool use, and domain expertise. Reinforcement learning environments are now the center of gravity for that work: the difference between a model that demos well and a model that reliably completes long-horizon work is almost always the quality of the environments and reward signals it was trained against. Responsibilities As a Staff Software Engineer, RL Environments, you'll own the technical foundation for how Scale builds, runs, verifies, and delivers RL environments at scale. An RL environment is a real piece of software: a containerized world with real dependencies, real state, real tools, and a grader that has to be correct even when the agent is creative about breaking it. Building one is a full-stack engineering problem. Building thousands of them reproducibly, cheaply, with trustworthy reward signals and throughput measured in millions of rollouts is a systems problem that very few people have solved. You'll work on both. You'll design the platform: sandboxed execution, environment packaging and versioning, rollout orchestration, trajectory capture, verifier frameworks, and the authoring surfaces that let engineers and domain experts produce environments without reinventing infrastructure each time. And you'll go deep on the environments themselves by instrumenting real applications, designing task suites that expose specific capability gaps, and building graders that
