About the Role REMOTE IN INDIA We're looking for a software engineer to build the Kubernetes-native control plane that provisions and runs our GPU inference fleet. You'll design a manifest-driven API where the inference team declares what they need, whether that's a cluster, a model deployment, or a capacity change, and our controllers handle the reconciliation, provider/runtime selection, and lifecycle management underneath, so the inference team never has to know or care which specific serving stack, scheduler, or hardware pool is doing the work. You'll also build the systems that keep the fleet efficient, not just running, including defragmentation and rebalancing logic that consolidates scattered workloads back into contiguous capacity, and scheduling/bin-packing improvements that push GPU utilization up without hurting latency. The core value we're after is decoupling the people building on top of the platform from the operational and runtime complexity underneath, while squeezing more usable capacity out of the same hardware. You'll build the controllers, reconciliation loops, and self-service surface (API/CLI, not tickets) that make that decoupling real, plus the event-driven health, remediation, and utilization systems that keep it running and efficient without a human in the loop. Strong candidates have hands-on experience with Kubernetes controller/CRD patterns, have built or operated a platform API that abstracts multiple backends behind one interface, understand GPU scheduling and capacity efficiency (fragmentation, bin-packing, right-sizing), and think about GPU infrastructure as software to be engineered. A product mindset - you've built internal platforms or APIs consumed by other engineering teams and care about the developer experience of what you ship. You build it, you own it. You are not only responsible for delivering the software but also for operating and supporting it in production. Responsibilities Build the provisioning state machine
Role Overview You’ll be the Principal Software Engineer driving the next generation of a large-scale enterprise SaaS platform. In this role, you combine deep hands-on engineering with high-impact technical leadership, shaping how cloud-native and AI-enabled products are designed and built. You’ll design and deliver secure, scalable, serverless systems on AWS using TypeScript and Node.js, modernize critical platform components, and set the technical direction for multiple teams. You’ll also lead how AI capabilities are integrated across the product ecosystem, ensuring they are transparent, observable, and compliant. If you enjoy system-level thinking, complex distributed architectures, and mentoring senior engineers while still staying close to the code, this role gives you company-wide impact and the opportunity to define the long-term technical vision. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff) Lead the architecture and delivery of secure, scalable, serverless applications on AWS using TypeScript/Node.js. Define and evolve the platform architecture, driving modernization, performance, resilience, and maintainability. Design and operate distributed, event-driven systems using services like Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, S3, and EventBridge. Shape and implement AI-enabled solutions, embedding governance, observability, and responsible AI practices into the platform. Own Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation) to reliably provision and manage cloud infrastructure. Mentor senior engineers, influence technical decisions across teams, and clearly communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders. These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview Extensive experience (typically 12+ years) building secure, production-grade software systems. Proven track record architecting and delivering cloud-native, serverless applications on AWS. Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, REST API design, and at leas

At Dscout, we’re building the most flexible and powerful UX research platform on the market—trusted by the world’s top brands in finance (JP Morgan Chase, Intuit, Charles Schwab, PayPal), healthcare (Aya, Headspace), consumer goods (Keen, Verizon, Target, Northface), and tech (Google, Amazon, Facebook, Meta, Spotify, AirBnB). Our tools help teams deeply understand the humans behind their products, so they can build better ones. We are expanding our smart and driven team and would love for you to join us. We're looking for an AI Product Manager who brings the full standard PM toolkit — user research, market and competitive analysis, roadmap and strategy, cross-functional delivery, and strong collaboration instincts - and applies it to products where the model underneath doesn't behave the same way twice. You have a real, hands-on feel for what different LLMs are actually good and bad at, and you use that to prototype ideas yourself, sometimes shipping small, production-quality AI features directly. You default to ownership: of the roadmap, of outcomes, of the quality bar that decides whether something's actually ready to ship, and of what an agent should be trusted to do on its own versus when a human needs to stay in the loop. That's because building AI-native products means quality is a distribution, not a pass/fail — a feature can work correctly most of the time and still need a real answer for the failure tail, since the underlying system is non-deterministic, not just complex. What you'll do Lead the roadmap and strategy for your product area, from problem discovery through delivery and post-launch iteration Lead the evaluation bar for the model-powered surfaces you're responsible for: define eval sets, identify failure modes, and know the rollback plan before a change ships Prototype product ideas directly using your own understanding of model strengths and weaknesses, and ship small, production-quality AI features yourself when that's the fastest path to
