As a Manager, Public Policy and US State Strategy, you will report to the Senior Director of U.S. Public Policy and State Strategy developing an engagement strategy for the U.S. States. You will help build relationships and promote an environment that best positions Roblox for the future across the U.S. and with our partners globally. You will work internally and externally with a mastery of Roblox's policies and philosophies to advocate firstly on behalf of the Roblox community, and also on behalf of our product and engineering teams and its business. We partner with government leaders, operators, technologists, and policy stakeholders to translate cutting-edge AI into measurable mission impact while meeting government requirements for safety, reliability, security, compliance, and trust. About the Role We are seeking a senior government cyber leader to serve as Head of Government Cyber Integration for OpenAI for Government. This role will integrate OpenAI's government cyber work across strategy, testing and evaluation, trusted access, deployment, policy, security, and external engagement. This is a matrix leadership role, not a replacement for line management. Product teams still own product roadmaps. Research and Safety still own model capability measurement and risk mitigation. About the team The AI Deployment Engineering team is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective deployment of Generative AI applications. We act as a trusted advisor and thought partner for our customers, working to build an effective backlog of GenAI use cases for their industry and drive them to production through strong technical guidance. As an AI Deployment Engineer (ADE) in the OpenAI for Government team, you’ll help government agencies transform their organization through solutions such as automated content generation, contextual search, and novel applications that make use of our newest, most exciting models and technology. About the Role We are looking for a driven solutions leader with a product mindset to partner with our public sector customers and ensure they achieve tangible value with GenAI. You will pair with government agencies (federal, state, and local), policymakers, and other public institutions to establish a GenAI strategy and identify the highest value applications. You’ll then partner with their technical teams, subject matter experts, systems integrators, and implementation partners to move from prototype through production. You’ll take a holistic view of their needs and design an architecture using the OpenAI API and other services to maximize customer value. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Global Affairs, Applied Research, and Product teams. This role is based in Washington, DC.
