About the Team Our DD Labs team builds real-time autonomous delivery systems. The Planning & Decision-Making group is investing heavily in deep reinforcement learning to move beyond classical planning, learning policies that generalize across novel driving scenarios, handle long-tail edge cases, and improve continuously from large-scale fleet data. Our models jointly handle prediction and planning in a single unified architecture. Our stack is pure JAX end-to-end: the same code you train with is the code that runs on the robot. No C++ rewrites, no TensorRT export. A new policy goes from training to on-vehicle deployment in minutes. About the Role As a Senior/Staff Deep RL Engineer, you will design, train, and deploy deep reinforcement learning policies that make real-time driving decisions for our autonomous vehicles. You will own the full lifecycle, from problem formulation and reward design through large-scale distributed training to on-vehicle inference. You'll help define how learned components compose with the rest of the autonomy stack to produce robust, shippable behavior. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Formulate complex driving tasks as RL problems with well-shaped reward functions and expressive state/action representations. Design and train model-based deep RL agents using GPU-accelerated simulation at massive scale, including improving the simulator itself. Build and maintain distributed training infrastructure in JAX across large compute clusters. Build agentic optimization systems that automatically improve code, run experiments, analyze metrics, and iterate on RL policies with minimal human intervention. We’re excited about you because… BS/MS/PhD in CS, EE, Robotics, or a related field, with a strong foundation in reinforcement learning and deep learning. You have proficiency in using AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) in the full software development lifecycle, including designing, generating code, testing,
Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. The Community You Will Join: Airbnb’s public policy campaign team exists to further the interests of our community of hosts and guests with politicians, regulators, opinion leaders and others who shape the political and legal context for our business, helping them to understand the significant social and economic contributions of our platform. Across the region, we are engaged in hundreds of local conversations and negotiations with governments big and small. We engage governments at local, state, provincial and national levels directly and also use innovative advocacy and partnership strategies that actively involve our community and our stakeholders in making the case for fair, progressive home sharing rules. The Difference You Will Make: Airbnb’s Public Policy team aims to work closely with politicians, regulators, and the broader public to introduce them to Airbnb, highlight the significant social and economic contribution our business makes to local areas and its residents, and showcase best practices
About Pinecone Pinecone is the knowledge infrastructure for AI at scale. Its leading vector database and knowledge engine, Pinecone Nexus, power accurate, performant AI applications for more than 9,000 customers and 800,000 developers worldwide. Pinecone's mission is to make AI knowledgeable. Pinecone is based in New York and raised $138M in funding from Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ, Menlo Ventures, and Wing Venture Capital. About the Team and Role: The Experience team is at the center of one of the most exciting transitions in software development history — the shift from human-driven to agent-driven product experiences. We own Pinecone's API, clients, authentication, revenue, and observability systems, and right now that means redesigning all of it for a world where AI agents are first-class users alongside humans. This is a wide-scope role. You'll own things end-to-end — from backend architecture to API design to SDK and web surfaces. You’ll be working closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to identify user needs and build the right thing, at the right abstraction level, at the right time. Along the way, you will be building high-leverage platform capabilities that accelerate Pinecone’s product development and user growth systems. We're looking for an engineer who sees this moment for what it is: a rare opportunity to shape how developers and agents interact with a category-defining product. You're not waiting to see how the industry figures out MCP, agentic workflows, and AI-native interfaces — you're already experimenting, already forming opinions, already building. You know that speed and leverage matter more than labor, and you've internalized AI-assisted development not as a productivity trick but as a fundamentally different way of working. Responsibilities: Pioneer our agent experience. Shape how AI agents interact with Pinecone — designing interfaces, protocols (MCP), and tooling that make Pinecone the easiest and most capable platform f

Retail is a large growth opportunity for the business, and our mission is to be the most trusted and magical way to shop the brands and local stores customers love. You'll play a key role in making that real - from product discovery through to shopping experience in the apps millions of people use every day. You’ll join an evolving area where we are replacing and improving parts of the existing consumer apps, building specific retail journeys within large-scale B2C applications. This means working in a complex environment where multiple teams own different parts of the same app, and where strong technical judgment is needed to create consistency, quality and speed across teams. What You’ll Do As a senior engineer in our group, you’ll work your magic in Go or Kotlin (and some Kotlin) helping shape how retail succeed with Wolt.
