The worldwide data management software market is massive (IDC forecasts it to be $138 billion by 2026). At MongoDB, we are transforming industries and empowering developers to build amazing apps that people use every day. We are the leading modern data platform and the first database provider to IPO in over 20 years. Join our team and be at the center of innovation and creativity. MongoDB is seeking a Sr. Staff Software Engineer to join the Atlas Core Data Services organization. The organization is responsible for building MongoDB Atlas, our database as a service offering and fastest growing product, along with the API Platform and Developer Tools. Atlas allows users to deploy fault-tolerant, secure, globally distributed MongoDB clusters in just minutes. We are constantly challenged to design features that ensure Atlas clusters are secure, available, durable, and performant while running large-scale, critical workloads. The Sr. Staff Engineer in this role will drive innovation across the organization and the company, setting technical standards and direction that enable future growth and velocity. We are looking for engineers with the experience and high standards needed to lead at that scale. Our organization champions a strong culture of inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration. MongoDB is growing its team in Sydney, focusing on building intelligent tools that help customers understand and modernise their application codebases. The Application Modernisation Platform (AMP) guides customers through the entire journey of modernising their applications — from legacy relational platforms to modern, scalable systems built on MongoDB. The App Analysis & Modelling team owns the critical first stage of this journey: building the context that powers everything downstream. The team builds code analysis tools that construct code dependency graphs and generate deep insights for codebases, giving customers a clear understanding of their existing applications before transformation begins. The team also designs schema recommendation engines that analyse signals such as existing relational schemas and query patterns to inform data modelling decisions. Our work sits at the intersection of analysis, data modelling, and AI — helping developers make confident, data-driven decisions as they transition to MongoDB. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about building scalable backend systems and applications. As we expand our use of AI to power smarter analysis and recommendations, the ideal candidate will bring strong backend engineering fundamentals with the ability to contribute across the full stack. You will collaborate closely with product management and other engineering teams to design and deliver cutting-edge features that guide customers through complex modernisation journeys. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Sydney for our hybrid working model. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial software development experience with strong proficiency in Python and/or Java Extensive Experience designing and building scalable, high-performance APIs and backend services Solid understanding of relational data modelling and SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar), including schema design and query opti

AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and n8n are quickly becoming the default way developers build with AI — and MongoDB wants to be the data platform that shows up everywhere they build. As part of the AI Builders Experience (ABX) org, we're standing up a brand new engineering team in Gurugram to make that happen, and we're looking for Senior Software Engineers to be among its founding members. The team owns the connective layer between MongoDB and third-party AI frameworks, platforms, and tools — the integrations that let developers use MongoDB effectively with the AI stack they've already chosen. That means shipping into some of the fastest-moving open-source ecosystems in tech, working mostly in Python and TypeScript, and partnering with the Database Experience (DBX) org when an integration needs new driver, platform, or product capability underneath it. This is a self-sufficient team by design. You and your engineering manager will be based in Gurugram, and the group is set up to own its area end to end: to decide how integrations get built, tested, released, and maintained, without waiting on another time zone to unblock the day-to-day. You'll work closest with the engineers sitting next to you, pairing on hard problems, reviewing each other's code, and dividing up a broad portfolio, while collaborating with product, partners, field teams, and open source maintainers as the work requires. You'll integrate with fast-moving, often unproven technologies, make pragmatic calls in the face of ambiguity, and own high-visibility projects with minimal guidance. Priorities can shift week to week based on framework changes, customer demand, and partner needs, so we're looking for product-minded engineers who thrive on autonomy and take pride in shipping. Much of your work will happen in public: sending pull requests to upstream repositories, working through external maintainer review cycles, and representing MongoDB in developer communities. At Qualia, we've built the leading B2B real estate technology that transforms the home buying and selling experience into a simple, secure, and enjoyable process. Our SMB and Enterprise products bring together users from across the real estate ecosystem—homebuyers and sellers, lenders, title and escrow agents, and real estate agents—onto a single shared digital closing platform, providing greater clarity and transparency to real estate transactions. Today, through our business customers across the country, millions of consumers use Qualia to close on homes every year. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON Within Qualia, you'll join the Payments team. Every real estate closing ends with money changing hands: earnest money deposits, loan funding, mortgage payoffs, seller proceeds, and commissions. Qualia powers a substantial portion of U.S. residential home sales every year, totaling billions of dollars in transaction volume. The Payments team builds the systems that move those funds safely, accurately, and on time. The stakes are high. A single closing often moves hundreds of thousands of dollars between multiple parties on a tight deadline, and real estate wires are a prime target for fraud. Our mission is to make money movement the most trustworthy part of the closing, so title and escrow teams, and the homebuyers they serve, never have to wonder where their funds are. HOW WE WORK Our engineers are entrepreneurial, pragmatic builders who move quickly without cutting corners, and who are as comfortable owning a project end to end as they are collaborating with a team. We ship frequently, as often as multiple times a day, and work directly with design, compliance, and customer-facing teams to build payment experiences our customers depend on. RESPONSIBILITIES Design, build, and maintain systems that process ACH and wire transfers at scale (billions of dollars annually), including origination, settlement, reconciliation, and exception handling Build and harden payment-processing pipeli
