MeltPlan | Planning Engine for the Built Environment MeltPlan is building the “planning engine” for the $14 Tn construction industry, an AI system designed specifically to optimize decisions before construction begins. While design software optimizes use and aesthetics and construction software optimizes execution and control, MeltPlan is building the missing layer - software that optimizes decisions and tradeoffs upstream, before scope is locked, procurement begins, and change orders become inevitable. MeltPlan’s long-term goal is to help teams make construction “boring” by making planning more intense: surfacing constraints and tradeoffs early, aligning stakeholders before plans are frozen, and reducing the need for late-stage redlines, rework, and change orders. MeltPlan is founded by operators who have built at scale. Kanav previously co-founded Innovaccer, a $3Bn health-tech company focused on making US healthcare more affordable and accessible. He’s now applying that systems-level thinking to construction. He’s joined by Tanmaya Kala, former Project Executive at DPR Construction, who led large commercial, healthcare, and life sciences projects. We combine deep tech scale with real construction execution. What This Role Really Is Code writing is a commodity. We’re not hiring someone to close tickets. We’re hiring someone who: Is biased toward building Thinks in systems Designs for scale and resilience Reviews architecture, not just PRs Can move fast without creating long-term mess You’ll ship products daily. You’ll also help shape the system so it doesn’t collapse under growth. What You’ll Do Build end-to-end features (DB → API → UI) Design scalable data models and backend architecture Ship clean, production-grade frontend experiences Review and improve system design decisions Work directly with founders on product direction Help define engineering standards as we scale What We’re Looking For Strong backend fundamentals (APIs, databases, performance, system desi

About the Team: Tubi's Internal Tools team is at the forefront of AI integration, developing everything from developer resources to production-grade AI for business operations. We are the group responsible for turning AI from an experiment into an operating capability: training, infrastructure, developer agents, and AI-powered business systems. Engineers operate with high ownership and autonomy, collaborating on shared architectural decisions and AI infrastructure. What You'll Do: Own systems end to end — design them, build them, and support them in production. Lead the projects you own: sequence the work, decide what lands first, and set technical direction for the engineers working with you. Sit with the people who use what you build, and turn what you learn there into a system. Design the service boundaries, contracts and schema evolution that let our platforms grow without breaking the teams depending on them. Make our AI systems dependable in production: evaluation harnesses, human approval steps before an agent acts, retries that handle a model returning something unexpected, and cost tracking that tells you what a task costs before you run it. Build what other engineers build on — agent skills, tool and MCP integrations, shared libraries — and raise the bar through code review, design discussion and mentoring. Spot the platform work nobody has asked for yet, make the case for it, and build it. Your Background: 5+ years of professional experience building and operating production systems, from design through production ownership. A system you designed and can walk us through end to end — where its boundaries sit, what constrained it, and what you chose against. Strong programming proficiency in a statically typed language such as Rust, Go, C++, Java, Kotlin, C#, or TypeScript. Production Rust is a plus rather than a requirement. You have owned a service in production: you wrote the runbooks, you knew what it cost, and you were the one paged when it broke. Expe
Who We Are Nuro believes self-driving vehicles are the most immediate and profound opportunity for AI to drive positive change in the physical world. Safer streets, more time for what matters, and easier access to the world around us, that’s why we’re building a universal autonomy platform: self-driving for all roads and all rides. Founded in 2016, Nuro is a physical AI company developing Level 4 autonomous driving technology for a wide range of vehicles, use cases, and markets. With years of real-world deployment experience and a flexible, partner-led business model, Nuro is working toward a future where millions of autonomous vehicles powered by our technology help make everyday life safer, easier, and more connected. Nuro has raised over $2B in capital from Uber, NVIDIA, Google, Softbank, Fidelity, T. Rowe Price, and other leading investors. About the Work Lead system-level requirements definition, architecture design, integration strategy, and validation in one of the platform areas — autonomy sensors, AV compute, motion control, pose/localization, or end-to-end latency. Characterize and quantify system performance for that area: define nominal targets, minimum performance, and acceptance criteria across all ODDs, and defend those numbers with data rather than convention. Recommend operating constraints for current and future ODDs on different vehicle platforms — for example trajectory constraints for a given virtual driver, or sensor performance envelopes. Define and quantify test coverage for your area, including the realism and relevance of proposed tests across simulation, SIL/HIL, closed course, and on-road. Partner with software teams to define interfaces, performance metrics, failure modes, and validation strategies; validate platform modules against ground truth whe
