Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation. About the role This is a zero-to-one Product Engineering role on Replit's Money team. You'll bring our financial partnerships alive from scoping to integrating and operating them so that the builders on Replit, and the Apps and Agents they ship can transact reliably anywhere in the world. Money at Replit isn’t traditional payments. Builders are publishing apps that earn revenue. Agents are spending and being paid for work. New protocols for agentic commerce now exist to power the future of commerce: Shared Payment Tokens, the Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP), the Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP). Replit is one of the platforms that will define what they look like in practice and lower the barrier to entry. To make any of that real, we need someone who can sit between Replit engineering and our financial partners including billing platforms, payment processors, agentic-commerce protocol partners, tax and compliance vendors to turn signed contracts into live, reliable integrations. You'll be the engineer partners ask for, and the engineer the rest of Replit relies on when a new monetization surface needs to ship. This role is a fit if you like writing code and you also like being in the room when a partnership is being scoped, because you know that the design decisions made in that room are the ones that bind the integration for years. You will Take financial partnerships from zero-to-one: scope the integration with the partner, pressure-test data and protocol specs, design the system, build it, ship it, and operate it. Own the technical relationship with Replit's financial partners across the full lifecycle: billing platforms, payment processors, agentic-commerce protocol partners, t

With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation. About this role: Accelerate engineering velocity and reduce friction in the Replit development experience by stewarding our codebases, tooling, and developer workflows. You will directly impact every engineer who ships code at Replit. By focusing on developer experience, you will act as a force multiplier across all product development teams, enabling faster feature delivery, happier developers, and reduced operational overhead. The role combines the technical depth needed to navigate a complex, polyglot codebase with the product mindset to understand how infrastructure decisions impact developer productivity and ultimately customer value delivery. You will also partner closely with the AI team on our internal AI platform — which already generates more than 60% of all merged PRs at Replit — to improve the Agent's output and help shape strategy around the Agent's default stack. This is an early hire in this area, so you will have agency and have an accelerated career path as the team undoubtedly grows. You will: Maintain and evolve our codebase structure — a complex TypeScript monorepo, Go services, npm packages, and internal Agentic tooling. Own the build and test pipelines and optimize them to minimize build times and improve developer iteration speed. Drive code generation and type-safe interfaces across service boundaries (e.g., GraphQL, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, OpenAPI). Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation. About the Role: This is a Principal Product Engineering role focused on Money Infrastructure at Replit. You’ll work on the financial backbone that powers how Replit earns money, how builders earn money, and how Agents transact. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and the business. The systems you build directly impact revenue, trust, and some of the most critical user journeys on the platform. We’re looking for engineers who can design and scale reliable financial systems while translating complex monetary logic into intuitive, user-friendly experiences for both Replit customers and builders on the platform. We love folks who have a passion for monetizing innovation and being a part of the greater pricing story.
