Position Responsibilities: Provide F-22 training device maintenance services at Sheppard AFB, TX. Assists in repairs, tests, installs, configures, upgrades and assists in the modification of F-22 Maintenance Training Device (MTD) components, devices, hardware and software. Performs detailed inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling. Inspect components and LRU's to verify status prior to installation. Consults with engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment. Troubleshoot to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components. Performs functional test of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and indicators. Performs a multi-disciplined range of technical systems applications and activities. Installs, configures and maintains multi-platform systems hardware, software and components. Ensuring systems conform to architectural objectives. Evaluates complex system’s production readiness and supportability. Documents work by engineering planning documents and/or technical manuals.
