At Graviton, we don't believe the best trading strategies come from following established playbooks. They come from asking better questions. Why does a pattern exist? What is driving it? Is it real or just noise? Can it be explained, modelled and turned into an edge? As a Quantitative Researcher, you'll work on those questions every day. You'll investigate market behaviour, develop quantitative models, build and test hypotheses and turn insights into trading strategies, working alongside researchers and technologists in an environment where an idea on a whiteboard can reach live trading quickly. This isn't a role where the answers are in a textbook. The problems are open-ended, the data is enormous, and finding the answers is the job. Ideal candidates are rigorous thinkers who genuinely enjoy mathematics, programming and figuring out things that aren't obvious, based in our Singapore, London, Amsterdam or US offices. What You'll Work On You'll work across quantitative research and systematic trading, taking ideas through the full lifecycle: question, hypothesis, experiment, model, validation, strategy, production. Depending on your team and research interests, your work would include: Discovering predictive patterns and sources of alpha from billions of market events Formulating hypotheses about market behaviour and designing experiments to test them Applying probability, statistics, optimization and machine learning to build predictive models and quantitative signals for sys

About BlockTech BlockTech is a fast-paced algorithmic trading firm trading crypto derivatives and spot across global venues, 24/7, with our own capital. Crypto is one of the few markets where a researcher can still move the edge. The data is abundant, the microstructure is novel, and the loop between an idea and live PnL is short. High-frequency options trading is where we're strongest, and we're widening our scope to include more mid-frequency work. We're looking for a senior Quantitative Researcher with a mid-frequency background to join our Amsterdam trading floor. The role You'll be in charge of developing our mid-frequency capabilities, owning the research agenda end to end, from hypothesis and dataset construction through model training and backtesting to live deployment. At Graviton, every strategy, model and edge begins not with instinct, but with someone asking a better question than everyone else. As a Quantitative Research Intern, you'll spend 10-12 weeks working on research that directly shapes how we understand markets and build trading strategies. You'll collaborate with researchers and technologists to investigate market behaviour, test hypotheses, build predictive models and solve problems where the answers aren't obvious. This isn't an internship where you observe from the sidelines. Outstanding work has the potential to shape production strategies and generate real, measurable returns. Ideal candidates are quantitatively sharp, practically minded problem solvers, programmers, mathematicians and scientists who are excited to solve the hardest problems in our field, across our offices in the US, Singapore, Amsterdam and London. What You'll Work On You'll work on real research problems, not simulated exercises, discovering predictive patterns from billions of market events, designing statistical models, and applying machine learning to open research problems. Your work would include: Discovering predictive patterns from billions of market events Designing statistical models that identify trading opportunities Applying probability, optimization and machine learning to open research problems Building AI-powered research agents that accelerate experimentation Developing infrastructure for rapid, large-scale research Designing experiments

As we continue to grow rapidly, we are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Foundation team amid our exciting scale-up phase! You will Build & optimize: Design, develop, and maintain high-reliability, low-latency, and high-throughput foundational systems that enable our trading and technology teams to scale efficiently. Ingest & aggregate: Collect trading business data with minimal latency impact and ingest both public and private exchange information into our trading system. Store & stream: Develop and maintain infrastructure for real-time data aggregation and long-term storage, as well as our Kafka-based messaging systems. Collaborate & support: Work closely with multiple teams, assisting them in integrating with and making the most of our foundational systems. Innovate: Drive projects from concept to deployment with full ownership, and explore new tools, frameworks, and approaches to keep our infrastructure best-in-class. The Foundation team develops core software infrastructure (libraries, frameworks, and systems) for BlockTech, solving common problems and lending its expertise to enable other teams to stay focused on their respective domains. They own, develop, and configure a wide variety of critical, high-reliability software, ranging from low-level ultra-low-latency shared memory IPC
About BlockTech BlockTech is a fast-paced algorithmic trading firm facilitating global cryptocurrency derivatives and spot trading while expanding into new markets. Positions, PnL, and hedging all run through our Mid-Office team. When the numbers our traders and risk team rely on are wrong, this is where it gets found and fixed. The role We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Mid-Office team in this role, you'll own the systems that keep positions, PnL, and hedging correct across every venue we trade. You build and run the platform, and you're the one who notices when a number looks wrong and follows it until you know why. You will: Own the books. Maintain and evolve our position, trade, and PnL systems so they stay accurate across every venue. Do the quant work. Build and refine our hedging, Greeks, margin models, and early exercise premium calculations. Surface the risk. Build the risk views and calculations that show traders and the risk team what exposure we're carrying. Support the desk. Work side by side with traders and researchers, making sure the data they rely on is correct and available. Deliver reporting. Provide the data that internal stakeholders and regulators require, PnL breakdowns, trade surveillance, treasury accounting, and compliance. Own it in production. Spot discrepancies in live data, trace the root cause, and maintain what you ship. What we're looking for An engineer at heart with a strong quantitative background. Real enthusiasm for the e
About BlockTech BlockTech is a fast-paced algorithmic trading firm. Specializing in crypto options, we facilitate global cryptocurrency derivatives and spot trading, while expanding into new markets. As we continue to grow rapidly, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take technical ownership of the data infrastructure our trading and technology teams are built on. Every decision at BlockTech starts with data: exchange feeds, our own trade and account events, and the history we query to make sense of both. The Foundation team owns the systems that move, aggregate, and store all of it. We run our own Kafka, NATS, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Iceberg, self-hosted and tuned by us. We work primarily in Rust, with Python and SQL alongside. This is a role for an engineer who has already built and operated data infrastructure at scale, and who wants their technical decisions to set direction rather than follow it. What will you do? You will own the pipelines and stores every other team depends on. When a researcher backtests a strategy, when a trader checks a position, when risk queries yesterday, they are all reading data your systems ingested, routed, and kept correct. As a senior engineer, you will also set the technical standards the rest of the team builds against. You will: Own the ingest path. Collect public and private exchange information and internal trading data with minimal latency impact, and land it in our trading systems in real time. Architect the streamin
About BlockTech BlockTech is a fast-paced algorithmic trading firm facilitating global cryptocurrency derivatives and spot trading while expanding into new markets. As we continue to grow rapidly, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take technical ownership of our Core systems and help shape how they evolve through our scale-up phase. This is a role for an engineer who has already built and operated correctness-critical systems at scale and who wants their technical decisions to set direction, not just follow it. What will you do? You will own the systems that keep our trading operation accurate at every level — positions, PnL, instruments, hedging, and the data flowing between them. Across exchanges and asset classes, your work determines whether the numbers our traders and risk team rely on are correct. As a senior engineer, you will also set the technical standards the rest of the team builds against. You will: Own the books. Maintain and evolve our position, trade, and PnL systems so they remain accurate across every venue. Architect the platform that supports trading. Design services that handle real-time exchange flow with the throughput and reliability our quoting and hedging depend on, making the structural calls that keep them fast and correct under load. Own the data flows. Operate and harden the public and private pipelines bringing market prices, account state, and trade events into our systems in real time. Lead venue integrations end-to-end.
