Synthesia is moving from a single product to a multi-product platform, and research is about to become one of the pillars that determines whether we get that transition right. You'd be joining as our first full-time UX researcher, working directly with product, design, and engineering on the bets that will define what Synthesia looks like over the next few years, including a new real-time, agentic product where we're figuring out an entirely new modality as we build it. This is a Senior IC role. You'll own research end-to-end and shape how the function itself takes form. Why now We've validated the appetite for research. Persona and jobs mapping shaped the first version of our newest product, and there's a strong pull from PMs, designers, and leadership for more. What we don't have yet is a full-time researcher who can operate across the whole product portfolio. The next six months contain some of the highest-stakes decisions we'll make: how the assistant experience should evolve, what drives adoption of the new product, and how we activate users in their earliest moments. Research should be shaping the direction on all three. What you'll be doing Running a combination of strategic and tactical qualitative resea

About the role Synthesia's long-term vision is to build the best human-interactive models: systems that don't just talk to people, but perceive and respond to them, reacting to a user's actions and emotions, not only their words. Today over 60,000 businesses rely on our platform, and the next leap in what we can offer them depends on models that combine text, audio, and video into a single real-time interactive experience. As a Staff Research Engineer, you'll join the Voice team within our 40+ person R&D department, but your scope will extend well beyond voice. At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. Vanta's Design Systems team is the foundational layer that powers visual consistency, design quality, and engineering velocity across all of Vanta's product surfaces. We build and maintain Vanta's shared component library (Alpaca), design tokens, interaction patterns, and documentation, enabling product designers and engineers to ship high-quality, cohesive experiences at scale. As Vanta grows across GRC, Trust, and new product areas, and as AI and agentic experiences become a first-class part of the product, Design Systems is increasingly responsible for a harder problem than static component consistency: building a system that can flex for AI-driven, runtime-composed UI and agent chat and canvas experiences, without losing the craft and coherence that makes Alpaca trustworthy across the org. This role sits at that intersection. You'll help define how a design system stays foundational when the product itself is becoming more dynamic and model-aware. What you’ll do as a Staff Product Designer at Vanta: Lead the strategy, evolution, and execution of Alpaca, ensuring it scales with the needs of a rapidly growing, increasingly AI-driven product organization Extend the design system to support AI and agent product patterns, including agent chat and canvas experiences and components that need to adapt based on runtime or model context Partner with product designers and engineers across every product team to define, document, and ship new components, patterns, and guidelines Establish and evolve governance models, contribution frameworks, and quality standards that let every designer at Vanta build consistently, including for AI-nat

When it comes to design, we’re looking to work with people who can pick up any problem and solve it. For us, it’s both how it works and how it looks. At its core, Linear is a developer tool where speed, interactions, and small details matter. We expect a broad set of design skills and the ability to create high-quality designs, interactions, and prototypes. In this role, you will help communicate Linear's story (what we're building and why it matters) as part of our internal creative agency: the Magic Team. Location & work mode Linear is a remote-first company. This role is open to candidates based in North American or European time zones. You can work from anywhere within those regions. Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit is democratizing software development by removing traditional barriers to application creation. About the Role As a Product Engineer, you’ll take emerging ideas from concept to polished experiences. You’ll build sophisticated, intuitive user experiences while working across AI models, agentic workflows, and all parts of web infrastructure to ship complete products. The Goal: Build products that can define major new categories for Replit. You will combine the flexibility of software with the accessibility of presentations, spreadsheets, dashboards, and visual editors, enabling anyone to create powerful, interactive artifacts through natural language. Engineers maintain meaningful ownership over technical direction, product quality, and launch success, supported by Product and Design partners. Cadence: We work in focused three-week sprints, shipping quickly, observing real user behavior, and incorporating feedback into each iteration. We value decisive execution, thoughtful experimentation, and the ability to make progress without perfectly defined requirements. What you’ll do Own major product experiences from initial concept through design, implementation, launch, measurement,
About the role Midjourney is an independent research lab exploring new mediums of thought and expanding the imaginative powers of the human species. We are a small, self-funded team focused on design, human infrastructure, and AI. We're looking for a senior product designer who's spent years building software. You'll design core product experiences across web and mobile, working directly with engineers and researchers from the earliest stages of a project through launch. What you'll do Own major product surfaces end-to-end: concept, flows, interaction, visual polish, ship Invent interaction paradigms for things that haven't existed before and make those new paradigms legible and fun Use research, experimentation, analytics, and user feedback to understand what people need and where products can improve. Prototype constantly, in Figma and in code — tools like Claude and Cursor should be part of your workflow Partner directly with engineering and research to refine interactions, iterate quickly, and ship high-quality work. You might be a fit if You've spent the last decade designing software people love to use. You're comfortable moving between interaction design, visual design, and product thinking. You enjoy working closely with engineers. You agree that good work often emerges out of many rounds of iteration. You explore wildly, are always ready to kill your darlings, and rework ideas until something clicks and feels correct. You'd rather prototype than make a presentation. Work > ego Logistics Full-time. Ideally San Francisco or New York, but PST/EST hours ok. Compensation: $200,000–$285,000 + benefits To apply A portfolio is required. We care much more about what you've made than where you've worked; if this sounds like you, apply even if you don't check every box.

Datadog SQL (DDSQL) and Sheets are two of the newest products within Graphing, Datadog’s most-used product area. Together, they give customers flexible ways to query, combine, analyze, visualize, and share data across Datadog. This role owns the product direction and user experience for both products. Your goal is to help users move from raw data to trustworthy answers quickly—whether they prefer writing SQL, working in a spreadsheet, or building visual analyses. Doing this well requires more than adding analytical features. Real-world analysis involves nuanced decisions about data models, joins, aggregations, time windows, missing data, query performance, and the transition from exploration to reusable work. You’ll work closely with design and engineering to make these capabilities understandable without limiting their analytical power. You’ll also help expand the data customers can analyze in Datadog, including third-party and business data alongside operational telemetry. This will make DDSQL and Sheets central analytical tools for a broader range of questions and users. What you'll do: Own DDSQL and Sheets end to end: roadmap, adoption, and growth strategy Partner closely with design to establish a high bar for information architecture, interaction design, and visual polish across complex analytical workflows Use product analytics and customer research to identify friction, improve onboarding, and measure whether users are reaching useful answers faster Define the experience for querying, transforming, visualizing, and sharing data, from query composition and results exploration to errors, performance feedback, and collaboration Define and execute the strategy for bringing third-party data into Datadog: from market research and use-case definition through pricing Expand Datadog SQL from a standalone editor into a platform-wide query capability on all graphs Redesign how users discover and get started with Graphing products: rethink list pages, build onboa
