Within our Guest & Host organization is the Communication and Connectivity team. The communication branch owns the tools used daily by millions of guests and hosts, including Messaging (2nd most used surface within Airbnb), push notifications, and other deep integrations with key operating system features. The connectivity branch is responsible to connect hosts together through various ways, it also built a platform to connect 3rd party partners from various domains with Airbnb. The communication and connectivity team has engineers cover multiple disciplines including web engineers, native engineers, backend engineers, data engineers, and machine learning engineers. The role posted here will focus on general backend architecture and application of AI technologies.
