About This Job The Business Analyst (BA) plays a critical role in supporting a banking Data for AI programme. You will work across business, data and technology teams to assess current data practices, identify gaps and bottlenecks, and translate findings into practical requirements and improvements. The ideal candidate combines banking/financial services experience, strong business analysis skills and hands-on data governance/data management knowledge. What You’ll Do Assess current-state data governance, ownership, stewardship, access, controls and data processes. Work across AI/data use cases to understand data requirements, sources, flows, access and consumption. Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops with business, data and technology teams. Map processes and data flows and identify gaps, bottlenecks, manual effort and unclear accountability. Translate findings into clear business/data requirements, target-state improvements and reusable governance patterns. Identify recurring enterprise data issues versus use-case-specific challenges. Engage and constructively challenge senior stakeholders and SMEs.
