About the role The Data team manages the complete lifecycle of data for researchers - from sourcing and large-scale processing to delivering datasets that power our models. Data sits at the heart of our Research efforts and enables all other teams. As part of the Data team, you’ll work with over a million hours of video and audio data. This role exists at the intersection of applied research, data engineering, and ML infrastructure rather than being a traditional research position . You’ll build the world’s best human-centric data lake by collaborating closely with our model training teams. By understanding their requirements, you’ll extract new features and annotations that elevate our datasets. You should be passionate about enhancing model performance through high-quality, accurate datasets. Synthesia is moving from a single product to a multi-product platform, and research is about to become one of the pillars that determines whether we get that transition right. You'd be joining as our first full-time UX researcher, working directly with product, design, and engineering on the bets that will define what Synthesia looks like over the next few years, including a new real-time, agentic product where we're figuring out an entirely new modality as we build it. This is a Senior IC role. You'll own research end-to-end and shape how the function itself takes form. Why now We've validated the appetite for research. Persona and jobs mapping shaped the first version of our newest product, and there's a strong pull from PMs, designers, and leadership for more. What we don't have yet is a full-time researcher who can operate across the whole product portfolio. About the role: As the Manager of Scaled Customer Success at Synthesia, you’ll lead a high-performing team of CSMs, collectively managing a book of business $22M+ in ARR across our emerging and mid-market customer segments. This role is at the intersection of people leadership, digital program innovation, and commercial accountability. As an Enterprise Sales Engineer, you will provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and supporting technical evaluations (POVs). Sales Engineers help qualify and close opportunities with customers and partners and have a voice with the product team to help prioritize features based on input from customers, competitors, and partners.
