About the role We’re looking for an engineering manager to lead a team building software systems that detect and prevent harmful misuse of frontier AI models—before incidents occur. This is a builder’s role: you’ll lead engineers shipping production services, detection pipelines, and mitigation mechanisms that protect frontier model integrity and reduce high-severity misuse risk. While this work intersects with frontier model development, security and risk, we’re explicitly seeking someone with a software engineering foundation who is comfortable building reliable systems that can operate at billions of users scale. In this role you will: Lead a team of software engineers building detection + mitigation systems for frontier model misuse, with an emphasis on model IP protection / distillation detection and emerging risk surfaces from autonomous agents. Set the technical roadmap and execution strategy: prioritize, design, ship, iterate, measure impact. Build production systems: services, pipelines, tooling, instrumentation, and automation that scale with frontier model usage. Partner deeply with Research and Product to translate evolving model capabilities into concrete tests, signals, and mitigations that can be deployed at scale. Drive strong engineering fundamentals: architecture, reliability, monitoring, performance, and operational excellence. Hire and grow an exceptional team across backend, data systems, and applied ML engineering domains as needed. Anticipate what breaks at scale as agentic workflows become more capable. You might thrive in this role if you: Experience building systems in adversarial, fast-evolving environments Are comfortable with ambiguity and novelty Have experience adjacent to security (e.g., abuse prevention, fraud, integrity, platform defense, auth/identity, malware/spam, adversarial environments) Communicate clearly and build trust quickly with senior stakeholders—pragmatic, collaborative, and calm under scrutiny. About the role Midjourney is an independent research lab exploring new mediums of thought and expanding the imaginative powers of the human species. We are a small, self-funded team focused on design, human infrastructure, and AI. We're looking for a Product Designer to help build out experiences across Midjourney projects. You'll work closely with design and engineering to design and ship everything from product launches and feature pages to marketing moments and entirely new experiences. This is a hands-on role. We expect you to be as comfortable refining typography and layout as you are shipping a page. If your favorite part of the job is making beautiful things that people actually use, keep reading. What you'll do Design and build products from concept through launch. Work closely with design and engineering on new features and launches. You care about the details—typography, layout, motion, responsiveness, loading states, and performance—that make an experience great. Contribute visual assets for marketing. Prototype ideas quickly using Figma, Claude, Cursor, and whatever tools helps move the work forward. You might be a fit if You have 2–4 years of experience designing and building for the web. You move fluidly across the full design process, from early concept through final production. You have an instinct for the details that make interfaces feel considered: type, spacing, motion, and how they all work together. You know enough HTML and CSS to work effectively with engineers—or to build parts of the experience yourself. You're comfortable using tools like Claude Code and Cursor as part of your workflow. You'd rather prototype than make a presentation. Work > ego Logistics Full-time. Hybrid in San Francisco or New York. Compensation: $172,572–$195,220 + benefits. To apply A portfolio is required.

About the job Midjourney is an independent research lab exploring new mediums of thought and expanding the imaginative powers of the human species. We are a small, self-funded team focused on design, human infrastructure, and AI. Most of the products we build don’t have obvious precedents. We need product managers who can help teams navigate that uncertainty, make decisions, and turn ambitious ideas into products people can actually use. We’re looking for a Product Manager to help lead that effort. You’ll work closely with design, engineering, and research throughout the product development process, using tools like Claude Code to prototype concepts. You’ll help teams stay organized, make thoughtful decisions, and move projects from early ideation to launch. This is a hands-on role. Some days you’ll be writing product specs, running standups, and coordinating launches. Other days you’ll be interviewing users, reviewing prototypes, or digging into product questions that need deeper investigation. If you enjoy bringing structure to creative work and making it easier for great teams to do their best work, you’ll probably enjoy it here. What you’ll do Own the execution of major product initiatives. Partner closely with design and engineering from early exploration through launch. Write product requirements, manage backlogs, and keep projects moving. Facilitate planning, standups, reviews, and comms between teams. Help teams make informed decisions through UXR, research, and using Midjourney deeply yourself. Go deep on important product questions when needed, whether that means conducting user research, designing experiments, or working through a difficult product tradeoff. Help teams decide what matters most and make smart choices about quality, scope, and speed. You might be a fit if You’ve spent the last several years building software people love to use. You know how to create structure without weighing a team down. You’re as comfortable writing a product spec as you

About the job Midjourney is an independent research lab exploring new mediums of thought and expanding the imaginative powers of the human species. We are a small, self-funded team focused on design, human infrastructure, and AI. We don't think the future should look like yesterday's software. Our design team works across research, engineering, and product to make new capabilities feel intuitive, fun to use, and deeply human. We're looking for a Design Lead to help lead that effort. You'll partner closely with our Chief Design Officer to shape the future of Midjourney's products while building and leading the product design team. This isn't a traditional management role. You’ll spend meaningful time designing, prototyping, reviewing work, and solving difficult product problems alongside your team. Most days you will be helping exceptional designers do the best work of their careers by building with them. If your favorite part of leadership is modeling what good looks like by collaborating and getting your hands dirty with your team, you’ll probably enjoy it here. What you'll do Work closely with the Chief Design Officer to shape the direction of Midjourney's products. Recruit, mentor, and lead the product design team. Stay close to the work by designing key product experiences and helping teams solve their hardest design problems. Partner closely with engineering and research to turn new tech into intuitive product experiences. Establish design reviews and operating rhythms that help the team do its best work. Ensure a coherent experience across Midjourney's growing portfolio of products. You might be a fit if You've spent the last decade designing software people love to use. You've led design teams, but you still want to be in Figma every day. You're as comfortable thinking through product strategy as you are refining a single interaction. You work well with engineers and like building things that don't have established playbooks. You care about craft and iterate

About the role Midjourney is an independent research lab exploring new mediums of thought and expanding the imaginative powers of the human species. We are a small, self-funded team focused on design, human infrastructure, and AI. We're looking for a senior product designer who's spent years building software. You'll design core product experiences across web and mobile, working directly with engineers and researchers from the earliest stages of a project through launch. What you'll do Own major product surfaces end-to-end: concept, flows, interaction, visual polish, ship Invent interaction paradigms for things that haven't existed before and make those new paradigms legible and fun Use research, experimentation, analytics, and user feedback to understand what people need and where products can improve. Prototype constantly, in Figma and in code — tools like Claude and Cursor should be part of your workflow Partner directly with engineering and research to refine interactions, iterate quickly, and ship high-quality work. You might be a fit if You've spent the last decade designing software people love to use. You're comfortable moving between interaction design, visual design, and product thinking. You enjoy working closely with engineers. You agree that good work often emerges out of many rounds of iteration. You explore wildly, are always ready to kill your darlings, and rework ideas until something clicks and feels correct. You'd rather prototype than make a presentation. Work > ego Logistics Full-time. Ideally San Francisco or New York, but PST/EST hours ok. Compensation: $200,000–$285,000 + benefits To apply A portfolio is required. About the job Midjourney is an independent research lab exploring new mediums of thought and expanding the imaginative powers of the human species. We are a small, self-funded team focused on design, human infrastructure, and AI. Most of the products we build don't have obvious precedents. We need a QA practice that helps us understand how they'll behave in the real world, identify problems early, and ship with confidence. You'll work closely with product, design, and engineering throughout development, helping teams identify problems early and ship with confidence.
