About the Team OpenAI’s Platform and Infrastructure Engineering organization advances the mission of deploying artificial general intelligence (AGI) for the benefit of all by delivering secure, scalable, and resilient technology solutions. Our team builds and maintains robust infrastructure that safeguards OpenAI’s data and systems while ensuring employees are well-equipped and seamlessly connected. By prioritizing security, reliability, and user-centric solutions, we empower OpenAI employees to drive impactful AI research, corporate operations, and product innovation. About the Role As a Software Engineer: Internal Applications, Enterprise, you will build internal products that make technology support and administration safer, faster, and less dependent on manual intervention. You will help reduce reliance on broadly privileged human actions, turn recurring technology problems into paved paths, and build agentic systems that can help resolve tickets end to end. A core part of the role is building the interfaces that bring employees, AI agents, and human responders together in a shared ITSM experience, with the right context, controls, and handoffs at each step. We are seeking engineers who enjoy working across frontend and backend layers on ambiguous, high-leverage enterprise problems. You should bring strong product judgment, solid backend engineering fundamentals, and an interest in building software that changes how technology support, system administration, and agent-assisted operations are delivered. The best fit will care as much about the quality of the operator and employee experience as the correctness of the backend systems behind it. In this role, you will: Build frontend experiences that let employees request help, let agents gather context and take safe actions, and let human responders review, approve, or take over without losing the thread. Reduce reliance on broadly privileged manual actions by replacing them with narrow, auditable, policy-aware aut
About Ema Ema is building the world’s leading Agentic AI platform to transform enterprise productivity. We enable organizations to delegate repetitive tasks to Ema, the Universal AI Employee, delivering 10x gains in workforce efficiency, across functions. Founded by former executives from Google, Coinbase, Flipkart, and Okta, our team includes engineers from premier tech companies and graduates of Stanford, MIT, UC Berkeley, CMU, and IITs. We are backed by industry leading investors including Accel, Naspers/Prosus, Section32, and angels like Sheryl Sandberg and Dustin Moskovitz. Headquartered in Silicon Valley and with offices in London, Bangalore and Vancouver, Ema is at the frontier of what Agentic AI can do in production — we ship real systems that run real business processes at scale. The residency You own one hard problem end to end. You write the proposal, build the system, design the evaluation, ship behind a gate, and finish with a write-up of what turned out to be true, including the parts that didn't work. You'll sit in the production codebase with a senior mentor and real production data. Recent residents have shipped self-improving harnesses, inference-cost work, agent memory, and eval infrastructure. Your project gets scoped with you, not handed to you. The problem space The loop we care about: production traces become data, data becomes training and evaluation, and better agents produce better traces. Projects live somewhere on that loop. Harness and inference-time work. Context engineering, tool and skill design, orchestration, and deciding where extra inference compute actually pays. Self-improvement loops run behind hard fences. Post-training for agents. SFT on curated trajectories, preference optimization, RL on real agent tasks. Reward design where outcomes are verifiable, process vs. outcome supervision, distilling frontier behavior into cheaper models. Environments and rewards. At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done. About the role We're hiring someone to build the playbook for how we drive practitioner adoption of new capabilities, and bring new practitioners into the platform. You'll pick a segment (data engineers, ML engineers, analytics engineers), pair it with a use case, and figure out what it takes to get practitioners from awareness to activation. That means developing real knowledge of your audience: what they care about, where they spend time, what resonates, and what falls flat. Then working cross functionally to assemble the right assets, sequence them into an exciting journey that leads to adoption, and getting your campaign in front of the right people across owned, paid, in-product, and partner channels. What you're building is a closed loop. Each campaign is instrumented so you can see what actually worked. Did practitioners activate? Did usage stick? How quickly did they find value? Each round of learning makes the next one sharper. The insights you generate don't stay with you; they feed back to marketing, product and account teams to drive broader adoption across organizations. If you want to own the full arc from choosing the audience to designing the playbook to shipping the campaign to building the feedback loops that make it all compound over time, this is that ro
