About Sentry Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building. Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future. About the Role This isn’t a typical engineering role. You won’t be embedded in a single product team or siloed in one product area. Instead, you’ll sit within Platform Engineering, own the AI-assisted coding domain, and work across all of engineering at Sentry, focused specifically on how AI coding agents participate in our software development lifecycle. For AI coding agents to work well in our repo, the internal systems they depend on need to be accessible via API, not locked behind UIs that require human interaction. Right now, many of those systems aren’t agent-ready. You’ll audit and prioritize that gap, expose those systems programmatically, and build the connections that let tools like Claude Code operate on them end-to-end. From there, the scope expands to improving the quality of AI-generated pull requests and automating the engineering work that’s important but consistently deprioritized. You will look from context engineering standpoint to see what to send to our model; you will look from harness engineering standpoint to see the tools it can use, the permissions it has, the state it carries forward, the tests it has to pass, the logs you capture, the retries, checkpoints, guardrails, and evals. You’ll work closely with the dev infrastructure team as your home base, then collaborate across every product team coding in our repo once the tooling foundation is in place. It’s a broad role with real impact, and the work you do will directly change how Sentry engineers ship software. What You’ll Do Audit Sentry’s internal developer systems and make them API-ready for AI agents. You’ll prioritize and drive the work of ex

Translate infrastructure-heavy product work into buyer narratives for ML engineering, platform engineering, security, compliance, procurement, and executive audiences. Partner with Product and Engineering to understand the technical architecture, customer value, roadmap tradeoffs, and proof points behind each capability. Build messaging that is technically credible without being overly implementation-focused or generic. Launch Strategy & GTM Execution Build and execute launch plans for major dedicated inference and serving platform capabilities, from early internal enablement through external announcement. Decide what deserves a full launch versus what should ship through docs, sales enablement, customer-specific materials, or targeted enterprise outreach. Create launch assets including messaging briefs, landing pages, blog posts, sales decks, one-pagers, FAQs, demo storylines, competitive talk tracks, and customer-facing proof points. This is a high-visibility, execution-critical role sitting at the intersection of infrastructure engineering, capacity planning, vendor/partner management, and customer delivery. You will own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for large-scale compute infrastructure — from initial site/capacity commitments through power, networking, and hardware bring-up, to production-ready GPU/compute capacity landing in the hands of internal teams or customers. You'll be the person who turns ambitious infrastructure roadmaps into predictable, on-time, delivery. RESPONSIBILITIES Own delivery of on-prem infrastructure builds — colocation expansions, power/cooling readiness, rack-and-stack, network fabric bring-up, and hardware acceptance testing — coordinating across colo providers and partners, network engineering, hardware ops, and vendor teams. Drive neo cloud delivery programs — manage capacity delivery from GPU cloud and neo cloud partners (e.g., colocation/bare-metal/GPU cloud providers), including contract milestones, capacity ramps, SLAs, and go-live readiness. Build and maintain master delivery schedules across concurrent, multi-site, multi-vendor programs, integrating power/shell timelines, hardware lead times, logistics, and software/platform readiness into a single critical path.

About the Team Training Runtime designs the core distributed machine-learning training runtime that powers everything from early research experiments to frontier-scale model runs. With a dual mandate to accelerate researchers and enable frontier scale, we’re building a unified, modular runtime that meets researchers where they are and moves with them up the scaling curve. Our work focuses on three pillars: high-performance, asynchronous, zero-copy tensor and optimizer-state-aware data movement; performant, high-uptime, fault-tolerant training frameworks (training loop, state management, resilient checkpointing, deterministic orchestration, and observability); and distributed process management for long-lived, job-specific and user-provided processes. We integrate proven large-scale capabilities into a composable, developer-facing runtime so teams can iterate quickly and run reliably at any scale, partnering closely with model-stack, research, and platform teams. Success for us is measured by raising both training throughput (how fast models train) and researcher throughput (how fast ideas become experiments and products). About the Role As a Training: ML Framework Engineer, you will work on improving the training throughput for our internal training framework, while enabling researchers to experiment with new ideas. This requires good engineering (for example designing, implementing, and optimizing state-of-the-art AI models), writing bug-free machine learning code (surprisingly difficult!), and acquiring deep knowledge of the performance of supercomputers. In all the projects this role pursues, the ultimate goal is to push the field forward. We’re looking for people who love optimizing performance, understanding distributed systems, and who cannot stand having bugs in their code. Since our training framework is used for large runs with massive numbers of GPUs, performance improvements here will have a large impact. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a
