About the team The Risk Operations Technology Enablement team sits within the Risk Operations org and is responsible for partnering across Risk teams to shape the technical infrastructure that enables us to scale our Risk operations and achieve our dual goals of preventing bad actors from exploiting Stripe’s systems and delivering an exceptional user experience for legitimate users. More specifically, our team partners with Risk product and engineering teams to identify, scope, prioritize, pilot, and roll out technical infrastructure and tooling improvements to protect Stripe and serve our users. From the application of AI to our reviews, to agent diagnostic and resolution tools, to review and support case routing, to our user-facing risk support surfaces, our team’s mandate is expansive and a major lever in both protecting Stripe and its users from risk as well as improving the user experience. What you’ll do You’ll lead and develop a high-performing team of Engineering Program Managers who deliver technical programs with step-change impact for Stripe. You’ll build strong partnerships and operating mechanisms with Risk Engineering and Product, co-develop the strategy for Risk’s technical infrastructure grounded in a deep understanding of the Risk technology stack, and own mission-critical technical processes (e.g., Risk Ops tooling-stack prioritization). About the Team The Intelligence and Investigations team is dedicated to ensuring the safe, responsible deployment of AI by rapidly detecting and mitigating abuse. Our team leverages the latest testing methodologies to uncover vulnerabilities and emerging threats, helping safeguard OpenAI’s products and users. We work closely with cross-functional partners across product, policy, and engineering to drive a comprehensive defense strategy against evolving adversarial challenges. About the Role As a Red Team Specialist focused on cyber, you will help answer two practical questions: What cyber capabilities can our models provide to real-world attackers, and do our safeguards remain effective when those attackers use increasingly sophisticated techniques? The role combines scaled evaluation with expert-driven testing. You may bring deeper experience in cybersecurity and use that expertise to judge whether a model’s behavior meaningfully changes attacker capability. Alternatively, you may bring deeper experience in model evaluations, automation, or agentic harnesses and apply those skills to building rigorous cyber testing. We do not expect every candidate to be equally deep in both areas, but successful candidates will have a strong foundation in one and enough fluency in the other to work effectively across the boundary. Most of your work will focus on model cyber capabilities and safeguards; you will also spend a portion of your time testing novel abuse risks in agentic systems. This role is located in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Design and run rigorous evaluations of model cyber capabilities and safeguards, including policy adherence, correct refusal, over refusal, and resilience to jailbreaking and other adversarial techniques. Conduct hands-on testing to understand what models can enable when used by experienced security practiti

THE ROLE As a Site Reliability Engineer at Baseten, you'll define and codify the gold standards of day 2 operations for our ML infrastructure platform. You'll envision and build robust systems, processes, automations, and observability tooling that keep our platform reliable at scale — and that empower the broader organization to operate confidently. THE ROLE As a Software Engineer on the Internal Tooling team, you will own the internal operating system that sits at the heart of how Baseten operates. Capacity helps unlock revenue by carefully balancing supply and demand. The operating system manages all aspects of the customer lifecycle: from onboarding to managing complex customer SLA requirements. This role is for engineers who want to own a product end to end, not just implement tickets. You will work directly with the Capacity, Sales, and Engineering teams to understand requirements, define solutions, and ship software that removes friction from some of the most high-stakes workflows in the company. If something is slow, manual, or error-prone in the capacity fulfillment lifecycle, you will be the one to fix it. You are a strong fit if you have strong product intuition, move fast without sacrificing quality, and take satisfaction in building tools that make the people around you measurably more effective. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to to ship AI products. THE ROLE Baseten's engineers want to work in an AI-first way. What's missing isn't enthusiasm — it's the platform underneath it. Today everyone assembles their own agent config, context files, and MCP servers, so the good patterns stay trapped in individual setups instead of becoming defaults everyone inherits. You'll build that platform: the agent configurations tuned to our monorepo, the context and tooling layer that makes agents competent in our codebase, the evals that tell us which approaches actually work, and the rollout mechanics that get a new engineer productive with agents in week one. You are not here to mandate how engineers use AI — you're here to make the good path the easy path. Success looks like teams adopting what you build because it beats what they'd cobble together themselves, not because a policy requires it. Platform engineer, not AI evangelist. Ship infrastructure, measure it, kill what doesn't work, let adoption be the referee. The playbook for AI-first SDLC doesn't exist at any company yet. You'll write ours. WHAT YOU'LL BUILD Agent substrate — Repo-level context infrastructure that makes agents competent in our codebase ( CLAUDE.md/AGENTS.md conventions, architecture and domain context, and the tooling to keep it accurate as code moves). Internal MCP servers giving agents scoped access to CI, observability, incident tooling, deployment state, and docs. Shared skills, subagents, and hooks th

Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to to ship AI products. THE ROLE Container runtimes were designed for general-purpose software workloads. AI inference is not a general-purpose workload. Running large models at production scale exposes cracks in every layer of the container stack: runtimes unaware of GPU memory constraints, images that take minutes to pull when a model needs to scale to thousands of replicas, and isolation mechanisms that weren't designed for the multi-tenant serving environments that production AI requires. The tools the industry has relied on for a decade weren't built for this, and patching around those limitations at higher layers only goes so far. Baseten owns the entire pipeline, from the moment a developer pushes a model to the moment a request gets a response. That vertical ownership means we can fix these problems at the root. The Runtime Fabrics team is doing exactly that: purpose-building the container runtime and storage layers for AI inference workloads, led by some of the world's top containerd maintainers. As Engineering Manager of the Runtime Fabrics team, you will lead this work, setting technical direction, growing a world-class team of systems engineers, and ensuring the team's output shapes not just Baseten's infrastructure but the open-source container ecosystem at large. If you've contributed to containerd, runc, or related OCI projects and are ready to lead a team solving some of the hardest problems in infrastructure today, we'd love
