About the Team The Scaling team is responsible for the architectural and engineering backbone of OpenAI’s infrastructure. We design and deliver advanced systems that support the deployment and operation of cutting-edge AI models. Our work spans system software, networking, platform architecture, fleet-level monitoring, and performance optimization. About the Role We’re hiring an SW Engineer to enable production workloads and end-to-end testing on new platforms. This role will include creating new test harnesses and platform stress benchmarks, porting existing inference and training workloads to new, sometimes early-access, systems/hardware, analyzing performance and bottlenecks, and characterizing the end-to-end behavior of new systems (compute, comms, storage, control plane, and failure modes). Key Responsibilities Port and validate key inference and training workloads on new platforms/SKUs as they arrive; drive correctness, performance, and stability to an internal readiness bar. Build a suite of benchmarks and stress tests that capture real E2E behavior of our workloads by exercising all aspects of a system, including CPU, GPU, memory subsystem, frontend, scale-up, and scale-out networking (including WAN traffic, NVlink and RDMA collectives), storage, thermals, and any other relevant parts. Deep-dive performance on distributed training/inference: Collective performance and tuning (across NCCL/RCCL and internal libraries) Overlap of compute/communication, kernel-level bottlenecks, memory bandwidth and scheduling effects Create repeatable test harnesses that run in CI / lab environments and produce actionable outputs (pass/fail, performance score, regression detection). Partner with systems + fleet bring-up engineers to ensure the platform is not only stable and performant, but also operationally usable and scalable (containerization, K8s integration, telemetry hooks, failure triage loops). Work cross-functionally with vendors and internal stakeholders by producing

About the Team The Cooperative AI team is scaling OpenAI with OpenAI. We are building an AI powered knowledge system that evolves and learns as our products, systems and customers evolve. We leverage our state of the art models, technologies, and products (some external, some still in the lab) to assist or completely automate robust operations supporting both internal and external customers. We support OpenAI customers and internal partners globally, powering systems from customer support to integrity to product insights. We are a self-contained multi-disciplinary team, who enjoy a lightning fast feedback loop with customers at scale, some of whom sit just a few pods away. We iterate fast, and engineer for reliable long-term impact. We're constantly looking for the similarities and patterns in different types of work, and focus on building simple primitives, to apply world class knowledge to many domains. The work of this team exemplifies use of OpenAI technologies. We build systems so everyone can see the leverage that is possible with well designed AI-based implementations. We do this by working through internal use cases focused on Customers (specifically knowledge systems, automation systems, and automated agent systems) to prove impact, then we scale. About the Role We’re looking for Software Engineers who're passionate about blending production-ready platform architecture with new tech and new paradigms. You’ll push the boundaries of OpenAI’s newest technologies to enable interactions and automations that are not only functional, but delightful. Replit is a software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language. With millions of users worldwide, Replit helps more people build and ship software. About the Team Product Platform builds and owns the shared foundations the rest of Replit is built on: backend infrastructure, connectors, product primitives, and the frontend platform. When these foundations are solid, every other team moves faster. This role goes deep on the frontend platform: the architecture and platform layer behind every core product surface. We are a small, collaborative team that values curiosity and clear thinking over pedigree, and we care more about how you reason and build than the route you took to get here. If you like making other engineers faster, you will fit in here. About The Role As a Product Engineer focusing on the frontend platform , you will own the frontend architecture behind core product experiences: application frameworks, the API and data layer, testing infrastructure, and client performance. The goal is simple: product teams ship quickly and reliably on what you build. Is our API and data layer reliable and ergonomic, with clear contracts, sensible error handling, and effective caching? Are user-facing surfaces fast and well-instrumented, with testing infrastructure that keeps them safe to change? Is the codebase easy to navigate, change, and extend, including for AI coding agents? About the Team The Platform Analytics team builds the systems OpenAI researchers use to understand the quality and behavior of the models we train including what models are doing, why they behave in a particular way, and how that behavior changes across experiments. Neptune is a core part of this work. It ingests, stores, queries, and visualizes large volumes of metrics from pretraining, post-training, and reinforcement learning. Hundreds of researchers depend on these systems in their daily work to compare experiments, debug unexpected behavior, and decide what to try next. Our scope is broader than metrics. We also build platforms that help researchers analyze samples, traces, evaluation results, and other structured or unstructured data through dashboards, APIs, and increasingly agent-driven workflows. These systems need to remain fast, reliable, and understandable as the scale and complexity of research change quickly. We are not trying to become a consulting team that builds a separate solution for every research project. We work directly with researchers to understand recurring problems, then turn them into reusable infrastructure and platform capabilities that many teams can build on. About the Role We’re looking for a hands-on experienced software engineer who can take ownership of a critical system and drive it from problem definition through production adoption. This person should be able to own a platform such as CacheHouse end to end: define its technical direction, design its data model and storage architecture, integrate it with several research dashboards and workflows, guide one or two engineers, and ensure the system works reliably for its users. The right candidate should already bring the technical judgment, ownership, and execution expected at this level. The primary learning curve should be OpenAI’s stack and research problem space, not learning how to lead a complex engineering effort or deliver a production system. You will work directly with

NVIDIA DGX Cloud is an AI Factory designed to power the next generation of AI and industrial-scale breakthroughs. As a Principal Engineer for Security Architecture, within our Security Engineering organization, you will own a core security domain of the AI factory: the architecture, the paved road that delivers it, and much of the code underneath. You will hold the security design bar across DGX Cloud from inside the teams doing the building, and this is a founding seat on a new team. Security Engineering is a new organization at DGX Cloud, accountable for the security outcome of the platform, and Security Architecture is the function inside it that holds the design bar. Security here is fleet horizontal and stack vertical, so your work will cross every DGX Cloud engineering organization: you will embed with the teams building GPU clusters, control planes, and services, join their designs as a participant rather than an approver, and leave behind systems in which an entire class of risk is no longer possible. There is no architecture review board here and no approval queue. You are a senior IC with deep security domain knowledge, and the security bar holds because you helped set it and then helped ship it. What You Will Be Doing: Own a Security Domain End to End: Take architectural ownership of a core domain of DGX Cloud security, from the design through the system running in production. That could be tenant and GPU workload isolation, workload identity, infrastructure and network, supply-chain provenance, hardened baselines and patching, or deploy-time policy and admission control. Embed with the Teams Building It: Join the design early, write the code, and help land it.
